For anyone who followed the movie series it was a good ending to the series, answering the questions you may have had along the way. I only rated it good, because I was hoping for the final epic battle scene indicated in the prior movie, when they were surrounded at the White House, instead this movie picked up after the fact. Still a fitting end.

It's ok if you like the other show like this one but if you don't you will not.

Since I had all the previous 4 Resident Evil's, and enjoyed them, I thought i'd best give this a try. This is likely the best of the series. Decent action, and it wrapped up the series very well, explaining a few tings, yet leaving a very subtle opening should there be a 6th, though I do not think the series needs it, at least not with Milla. Plenty of action, decent situations, and lots of mutants. I would recommend this and give it a solid B+/A-.

This is where the decade and a half long tale meets its plot reveals. Boy, it now all makes sense. Sony alsways produces strong looking films in 4K, so you will get your money worth of content in the visuals alone. It happens to be an added bonus that the movie is great too. If you are a fan of this franchise, and like all of the movies in the franchise you will find this one to be the strongest next to Resident Evil: Extinction in second.

While the movies are somewhat repetitive, if you are a fan of the zombie genre, they are worth watching. This is the end to the tale of Alice (supposedly), and though it is worth watching, I can't help but feel that something was missing. Especially in the Battle of DC, which is only referenced, and not seen, during the movie.

I’m a big fan of the series but this is not my favorite movie. It is average story line at best. Milla doesn’t have a whole lot to work with. Surrounding characters are lackluster. A slight possibility to another movie was left open. Watch only if you’ve seen the previous movies otherwise pass

I'm a fan of the franchise, and I'm glad I bought it. Cheaper than seeing it in the theater, and none of that stale popcorn smell distracting from the odor of zombies. Great picture and sound, story was "meh", but it wasn't the worst of the series. Solid flick. And for it being "The final chapter" it left openings for more.

RE movies are nothing like the video games from the 90s. Once you except that and realize it's only loosely based off that universe and turned into a campy action flick they are a lot more enjoyable. This is more of the same and wrapped up nicely for the finale. If you like the 27 other ones you will enjoy this too.

If you like the other films in this series and/or are a fan of the games too, it's safe to say you'll like this one too. If you're not familiar but just enjoy action-horror movies with great monsters and effects with a bad*ss lead actress getting ya through it all then you'll have fun with this movie as well.

Fans of the movie or game franchises may have have differing opinions whether this movie is good or not, IMO its just a fun popcorn movie with action/horror. Only down side is the lack of audio commentary, considering other entries in the series had this extra... Check out Blu-ray .com for more AV insight.

My wife and I watched the movie together and both enjoyed it. The movie followed the tradition of the previous movies with the its clever plot. It was full of action and suspense. I enjoyed watching the movie and I am sure it won't be the last time. One question I'd have to ask, is this really the "Final Chapter"?

I didn't get to see this in the theaters so I was very excited to buy it and add to my Resident Evil Collection. It's one of the best, if not, the best RE installment yet. Fast paced, exciting and full of action. No matter if you've seen the others, the back story in this one quickly brings the viewer up to speed with the storyline, even helping fans of the series along with missing details in the earlier movies.

I was eagerly awaiting this to be released on DVD. When it was I snapped it up. I was NOT disappointed by it. It wraps up the video series. I am only hoping that a movie series is made that follows the video games as well. I am disappointed that some of the major characters were written/killed off (Ada Wong, Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield) with NO mention of them. But all in all, a good wrap up to the movie series.

Ok movie, the only thing that helped this movie is the 4k video.

I have followed the Resident Evil series of movies since the beginning, and I own them all. I naturally bought this one to complete my collection. It doesn’t say so on the packaging, but when I opened up the Blu-ray I noticed that there was a digital download code on the inside. That was a pleasant surprise. Now I can have it on my iPad for trips on an airplane, train, etc. and watch it there too.

... GREAT ACTION , WEAK STORY LINE, ANOTHER IN THE SERIES.

Great continuation for Resident Evil fans. There were some misses such as the daughter from the last movie and the guys that rescued her. But the way it was tied in from the very beginning to end with a surprise twist really made for a good movie. Resident Evil fans will be very happy I think.

I ma Resident Evil fan!! The movie was great. I like how it went full circle and gave true explanation. The only disappointment was the disc was advertised during preorder as 3d being available which once it was received it didn’t have that feature. That’s the only reason I gave 4 stars.

Kind of the same movie again which is ok if you like the series. The Movies not the games. I have the whole series in steelbook so had to get this though the quality of the franchise has gone down still a definite buy if you have the rest. The movie itself not a highpoint of the series though

Well, I had to buy it. I had all of the other movies.
