The game feels like the spiritual reincarnation of what the original concept for Resident Evil 4 would have been if not for production issues. The only draw back to the game is that the programmers want to hammer in the fact that you're in a VILLAGE and all the actions will involve the VILLAGE. Sure you go to different areas in the game, but in the end you're still gonna have to go back to the VILLAGE. All and all it's a solid game that utilizes the RE engine to it's fullest. Quite enjoyable for any RE fan

I'm a mega fan of the franchise but there are many missed opportunities. The developers keep working in reverse by focusing on uninteresting characters, scaling back technology by not making this title in VR, and deviating from the traditional 3rd person camera and gameplay similar to previous titles (RE 5 and RE6). They must do better!

Best Resident Evil game I've played since 4. Almost as if RE4 and Bloodborne had a furry offspring. Tons of treasure, hidden nooks, loads of fascinating enemies. The steel case is beautiful as well.

Awesome game, the case and steelbook for my copy were slightly damaged though, the steelbook was pretty bent up. Otherwise, available on release date and overall I was mostly satisfied with it.

An excellent game. I would definitely recommend spending a extra few dollars for the DLC that comes with the game. The extra weapons and DLC art content is great for any Resident Evil fan.

This game was truly better than the 7th game. The atmosphere was so much better and scarier at that. The story was much better crafted and had more areas to go to.

Been a big fan of the franchise. Loved the previous entry and I think this one has the potential to do a good job. Only 2 hours into the game but enjoying it so far!

Game itself is absolutely perfect.I preordered at Best Buy for the steelbook.I ordered 2 copies.One for me and one for my brother.I am very upset they only sent 1 steelbook.That was the reason I chose Best Buy.So now my brother doesn't get his steebook.Very dissatisfied.

I loved every minute of this game. I am on my second playthrough and will probably beat it a few more times before I move on to Mass Effect.

This was a great sequel to Resident Evil 8. Really enjoyed exploring the village and boss battle.

Best resident evil game to date filled with scares and plenty of challenges to keep you in your toes

Am I the only one not feeling the game so far? There's a whole list of cons. To me the game feels like someone dropped me off in the middle of the forest and said figure it out. I don't like that. Some sort of guidance or direction on what to do would have been nice. It feels so slow when I walk, like walking through mud. Why couldn't I walk at a normal pace? The game seems too hard with few resources to be found, even on the standard setting. The combat with trying to move a cursor to the right area feels like fighting in an old school computer game and those games had the worst combat mechanics. Maybe I will get used of the game the more I play but so far I don't see what all the hype is about.

Re8 is way better than re7. Its way bigger and more detailed. Besides some of the bosses lack action
