First time playing a resident evil game and can say I was very impressed and looking forward to the next game

This installment blends two different approaches to the franchise in a very fun, but shorter, experience. A mix of RE 4 and RE 7.

Another great addition to the RE mythos. Love the creature designs!!! Riveting from stat to finish. You won't be disappointed.

I don't make any comments about the game since everyone knows. I will just comment the process of this order. It's fast, period.

Amazing game,about 7 hrs or 8hr,so a good amout of time for a solo campaign, plus you get the multiplayer as well. Good buy

Game is fun. Interesting bosses and fights. Still working on finishing the game, but definitely will play more than once.

Capcom latest resident evil series Village that release for PS5 as well has Ray Tracing make the game even more stunning.

This was better than expected. Scary as hell, but not too scary like RE7. Loved it and am excited for what may come next.

Got this for my sons birthday, he likes it, game was a bit pricey as all these games seem to gone from $50 up to $70.

Very good game that concludes the story of RE7. I do believe that 7 is a better game because of the atmosphere and focus on being creepy. You can tell they toned it down a little bit but I wish they didn't and kept the series going in the direction of really being scary beginning to end.

Its a good game with terrifying areas, unique enemies, and good bosses along with bonus modes after you beat it

My game of the year so far! Very similar to resident evil 4 but so much more variety of level design and enemies!

9/10...it would be a 10/10 but they didn’t make it as scary as resident evil 7 because “people couldn’t handle it”

Enjoyed the game and updates from 7 (separate storage for crafting materials). Must buy for any fan of the series.

Big disappointment, the reviews were praising this as a return to RE 4 style action but FPS mode is slow and basic. The game isn’t bad it just shows how good RE4 was, wait for the RE4 Remake. Resident Evil seems to be cursed with every other entry being underwhelming, RE2 Remake was stellar, RE3 Remake was disappointing, RE7 was a great return to form and brought a new perspective, RE8 tries to ramp up the action but with bad controls kind of like the original RE3. While it is good that they increased enemy types they have poor AI and frequently get stuck in door ways. The stalker enemies are also basic which is sad coming off Mr.X and all the Baker family members from previous games. Two steps forward one step back, wait for a game sale.
