Beautiful graphics, particularly the interiors, and great sound design can't save this game from being a huge letdown. Aside from one short moment in the game, there are very few scares. It's mostly just action, which would be fine if the combat were really fun. It's not. I think it's lacking in feedback when you shoot something. It just doesn't feel very satisfying and there's not much to it. On top of that, the story is absolutely ludicrous. This is probably the silliest and campiest Resident Evil yet. Some of it is pure cheese, and unintentionally hilarious. I found it hard to take this game seriously at all. The way they introduced Chris Redfield was also terrible. The way he acted was completely out of character. And don't even get me started about the puzzles. These have to be the worst in the series. They're so easy I actually felt insulted, like the developers had zero respect for my intelligence. There's nothing clever about any of them. Lastly, there are performance issues on PS5. Frame dips everywhere, especially later in the game. I expected better. Overall, a tremendous step back from RE7 and not one I can recommend.

Resident evil village is another game in the series that does not disappoint. The storyline captures you from the very moment you start the game. Pick it up today & you won’t be disappointed.

Im surprised how good this game was. Not only that best Buy gave a free steelbook for buying it. This IS A DEPARTURE from the normal zombies. You fight werewolves and vampires... i know. But its still a good game.

Resident Evil VIII: Village is another great addition to the franchise. It has the immersive first person frights of the previous game, Biohazard, with the familiar setting and fast paced gunplay of Resident Evil 4.

Resident Evil Village on PS5 is great. Fast loading, good graphics, and use of the triggers and haptic feedback on the controller. A free steelbook case was also included which added to the good value.

This game is simply fantastic. Very few times has the Resident Evil franchise disappointed in terms of their games and this one was no exception. I highly, recommend trying this one out.

One of the few games that I have literally played from start to finish! Wake up: play, eat, play. Gotta say though, this game has some pretty F’d up scenes that even bothered ME! All in all though, 10/10

very spooky game and it is supposed to get a free PS VR2 upgrade when it comes out. Looking forward to it

This game is fun, and looks amazing on my PS5 and 4K UHD HDR TV. I'll admit I was Leary about the direction the series was taking with Biohazard, but the story seems to be getting a lot more interesting.

Though not a console-exclusive, it's nice to see some AAA+ next-gen games starting to slowly trickle in about 6 months later. This game is no brainer, definitely get it for your PS4/5 or XBOX: Series S/X!

Great game. Keeps me on my toes, and enjoy every single bit of it. Exciting from the very beginning. It starts off fast, never a dull moment throughout the whole game. Excellent graphic presentation.

First off being a long time fan of resident evil, Capcom has done a great job with this game! From the horror to the action and seeing to the close of Ethan winters story, I gotta say this is up there!

Best Resident Evil game since the fourth installment. Instant classic. And there's a certain segment in the game that I can honestly describe as the scariest moment I ever experienced in a horror game.

This is the best Resident Evil game to date. It does an excellent job bringing the horror elements from Resident Evil 7, mixed with the action gameplay of Resident Evil 4. Lots of fun and good scares.

Overall a great entry in the Resident Evil series. If I had one complaint is that while the action is done well in the game, I feel like there could have been a better balance of horror. The survival part is almost not there as ammunition is plenty. It didnt hamper the enjoyment of the game overall, but as the games started trending towards action, they lost some sense of identity.

Great game! Exceeded my expectations. Completely different from the original resident evil games which were in 3rd person view but this game will have you entertained for hours.

It is shorter than what I expected but still very entertaining. A refreshing take on the RE universe filled with charming villains and a protagonist that is much more likable than he was in RE7.

A terrific mix of action and horror. The game never lets you get tired of the same place for too long as the levels aren’t too long and meaningfully mix up the gameplay.

As a big fan of Resident Evil fan, this is one of the best entries in the series and serves as a true love letter to fans of the franchise!
