Fun arcade scare game for your PS5
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.wow, they did an excellent job with this installment of RE. It's disturbing, beautiful graphics, some of the writing is cheesy one liners but other than that, it's a very fun and challenging game. Lots of replay value

Horror Action Game
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I normally don't play horror games, but this game leans a little more action, so not too scary for me. Overall, I had a great experience with this game, and if you want a spooky action game, this could be it for you.

Werewolves!? Bugs!? Oh wow you’re tall!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game was amazing. Love the the franchise as a whole but the latest remakes and next-gen titles(re7) are really great games. This was a great conclusion to resident evil 7 and the visuals and gameplay were very good as usual. Has high replay value due to the various collectibles and stuff like extras you get after completing different difficulties of the game. For the die hard fans this is a obvious pick up and for first time players to the franchise/genre this is a great game to start with. There is even a small recap of the last games storyline to get new people up to speed if anyone is worried about that. But this is definitely its own monster so don’t be worried too much.

A great entry to the series and great sequel to re
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always enjoyed the Biohazard series. I have been playing it since 1996, and while they have been ups and downs in the franchise I don't think that there has really been a terrible entry in the main series. With that in mind, many people found Resident Evil 7 to be very polarizing. Some people loved it, while other fans hated that it featured new characters and a new first person gameplay design. With all this in mind, if you're a fan of the series I think you'll love this entry and if you love the last Resident Evil (7), you'll love this entry. It's much bigger, looks better, has horror, tension, action, and brings back Chris Redfield. It's a really fun game with a great variety of new enemies.

Best in the series
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Capcom has set the bar for themselves and I hope they can meet it with the next title in the series. Probably my favorite Resident evil game now, before it was re2 remake but Village takes the series into another positive direction on all fronts. Voice acting is stellar, every character has feeling and presence. You do have to play this on next gen tho in order to get the experience due to long loading. The graphics are phenomenal, the dialogue between characters are the best in the series. Werewolves, check. Vampires, check. A haunted house, oh yeah. Chris is a badass. Ethan is a badass. Guns, moss, and robot zombies, triple check. If this game gets dlc, and I hope it does, I hope it’s to flush out the villagers stories, especially Donna’s.

Scary and fun!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game was so much fun! It was just the right amount of scary mixed with first person shooter. I also enjoyed figuring out the different "puzzles" throughout the game. The end boss was extremely hard to beat though!

Love this Game!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to say this game exceeded my expectations! I played RE7 and while I enjoyed that game, this one is much better in my opinion. The story is more cohesive and immersive and the weapon/ability upgrades are even better than the last. My only complaint is that the game has very noticeable motion blur. I turned off the camera acceleration which helped. Some suggested turning off Ray Tracing, but I didn’t notice and difference with that. I will blame this issue on my Tv not being a High end (it’s a Hisense 4K HDR) however I feel the game should have still looked fine regardless of the TV. I played Spider-Man Miles Morales and didn’t have any motion blur issues but who knows. I wouldn’t let this deter you from the game, I just hope the devs address this.

A Decent Mix of Fun and Scares
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Resident Evil: Village feels like a weird mix between Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil 4. It has a decent balance of action and scares. Although I found the game more fun than Resident Evil 7 it was not nearly as good moment to moment. The boss fights for example, were far less interesting and creative. Hopefully the blandness of the combat in the game was created that way intentionally for future VR support. I also much preferred the atmosphere of RE7 to RE8. I personally feel that's one of the reasons Village's scares and jump scares often missed the mark for me. With the exception being one certain area of the game. The dialogue is still cringe worthy as ever for the series. Whether you view that as part of the RE charm or its detriment is up to you. The story does, however, have a few surprises for fans of the past games. If you're not familiar with them you may miss out on a few small things. Overall, I enjoyed Resident Evil Village. To my surprise, I really liked how they managed to integrate Ethan's story of both Resident Evil 7 and 8 into the series story as a whole in what felt like a fairly natural way. I would definitely give the game another star for the inclusion of a VR mode. Perhaps that will come in time with PSVR2. But as it stands now, 4 out of 5 stars.

An amazing RE game!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.RE Village is like a perfect combination of RE7 and RE4. An unsettling atmosphere with scary bosses that are equally compelling. Load times on the PS5 are instantaneous while the game looks & runs beautifully.

Imo one of the best in the franchise.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great game. The story is good and the bosses are great. The gameplay mechanics and the replayability is good. Definetly recommend getting it. If you did not play RE7 give it a try or just watch the recap.

One of the better modern RE games.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.RE7 was a solid new and innovative entry for the RE formula, but RE8 is the perfection of that innovation found in RE7. RE8 is a wild ride, and definite must play for any Resident Evil fans.
