Another great entry to the Resident Evil franchise. I've seen this game on sale quite often and totally worth purchasing if you are into horror/suspense or into the RE series.

What can I say about this game that hasn't probably been said? It's a great game, really fun gameplay, sound, graphics and a continuing story from RE7. The mid section of the game kinda drags in comparison to the beginning, but overall a fantastic addition to the franchise.

I've been playing Resident Evil since I was a kid in 1998. The series has had its fair share of ups and downs, but Village is definitely a high water mark. Capcom has really hit its stride and have found a nice balance of all the things that have made the franchise so beloved over the years—mixing the horror, survival, item management and puzzles of the original trilogy with the heart-pounding action and gore of 4,5, & 6. Fans of both eras of the series will each find things to love. The story is continues the one started in RE7 and is highly entertaining. Long time fans of the series will love it. Definitely worth avoiding spoilers at all costs. Also worth noting that the boss battles are bigger, better and definitely more frequent this time around. The action factor has clearly been kicked up a notch since we last saw Ethan Winters. That being said, make no mistake—Capcom did not skimp on the horror. Without giving away any plot info, I will honestly say that House Beneviento is the most haunting, disturbing thing I've ever experienced in my 23 years of playing the Resident Evil franchise. It terrified both my wife and I and left us feeling fairly uneasy afterward. It was fantastic.

Great game that runs awesome on PS5. However way too intense for me. I hate jump scares, I think they're cheap. However RE series tend to make them satisfying for most people. I still hate them however I can't get over the fact that this game is well made and polished. So aside from this issue, great game

Excellent game so far! The game is even better in VR!!

I had a hard time getting into Resident Evil 7. I don't know why but when I heard that Resident evil 8 village was closer to other resident evil titles like resident evil 4 I had to give it a try and I wasn't disappointed. I'm a little more than half way through the game and find myself thinking about playing the game during the day.

Great graphics. Fast paced and exciting. Unique characters to fight. My only complaint would be that it should be longer. I beat it in one weekend.

Great game awesome follow up the the previous game

It’s definitely an action game, and despite all the shooting, it’s also a horror game. And while it induces both creeping dread and righteous fury, its biggest triumph is in not-so-quietly arguing that horror and action aren’t that different after all. They’re both just ways to get your blood pumping.

Scary horror game. I should probably re-play this diring halloween.

This is a great game that has a lot of replay value. Similar to RE4, you'll want to play through it more than a few times to find all the secrets, and unlock some cool new weapons. Mercenaries mode isn't necessary great, but its a decent little add on mode that just extends the value of the total package.
