This game is absolutely amazing an easy 8/10. It's everything you like about Resident Evil 5, mixed with the Story of 7. If you're not a fan of super scary type games, this is still the game for you. It has just the right balance of action and suspense. I would definitely recommend it!

The Village is a long playing game with top notch game play and graphics. Take your time with it as it's long. It got a bit tedious at one point when I was not sure of what to do next or where to go but in the end, it's a keeper and one of the best RE games to date.

Not as innovative and intense as RE7, but still very much worth playing. Lady Dimitrescu will definitely leave an impression on you.

Great game and follow-up to Resident Evil 7. The graphics are gorgeous and the gameplay is a lot of fun. The story itself is quite different from the usual Resident Evil experience and that's what makes it so fun. I enjoyed it from start to finish.

Awesome! I’ve been a resident evil fan for a long time, I’ve played all of them and this hits right where it needs too for survival horror. Definitely recommend playing it on hardcore for your first play through though as the casual and standard mode are kind of on the easy side

Insane storyline that follows up from the previous RE Game, stellar graphics, spooky environments, creepy/gross enemies

This game is so fun, my wife and I have been playing it for the past couple nights. All the details in this game like the lore you can find throughout the castle is awesome. Not to mention graphics which are incredible. And of course love the PS5 controller feedback with weapons.

If you love survival horror games, than this is right up your alley. Continuing in the franchise that started the genre, it is fun. Graphics are top notch, and at this low price, a total win all around.

The characters/creatures are a welcomed refreshing take in this series. Crafting and creating new weapons is also a plus.

More action-based than prior RE games, but still a blast with some truly creepy parts. Honestly, one of the scariest moments in a video game I've experienced since the Silent Hill days is in this game. Be warned! It's an absolute blast and definitely worth getting.

Village takes a bit from each of the Resident Evil games before it. *A bit of Re4's loot scavenging and weapon upgrades *A bit of the first's mansion exploring and emblem puzzles. *Re7's first person perspective *A tall stalking invincible nemesis, albeit more talkative than previous incarnations. *An entire section dedicated to creepy atmospheric audio cues with a dash of an escape room that is some of the best horror the game has presented in years. However, it may have benefitted from putting more focus on any one of those things, and fleshing out the story a little more. There's not as many weapons to upgrade, or cool weapons to unlock like in RE4. The Mercenaries minigame is relegated to being a murder-puzzle rather than score based, and is virtually impossible for the average player to fully unlock or obtain the "LZ Answerer", which Capcom kindly suggested I pay 5 bucks to unlock this prestigious weapon without playing that segment via a microtransaction. My grievance with Capcom trying to extort another 5 bucks out of players aside, it just feels a bit too short and maybe needed a little more story development. I can't say I regret the purchase, it just just needed more attention to each of it's parts and maybe another chapter or two.

Fantastic continuation of RE7. Wastes no time getting into the action and keeps you on your toes. No sleeping on this game

After completing the incredible Returnal which I also rate a 5 I was excited to play RE8 since I’ve been a huge fan of the series since the original PlayStation days in the 90s. It’s very interesting how the RE series has changed throughout the years; some being awesome and some being abysmal. The original three RE, Code Veronica and the fourth RE for GameCube will always hold a special spot for me. I have been excited for this game since the announcement teaser trailer a year ago and I loved the visuals and atmosphere. This sequel in my opinion is an improvement over its predecessor, RE7. Some of the references to the fourth game is awesome and I really enjoyed the combat and enemy types in this game. The graphics are stunning especially the interior of the castle. I am grateful for the RE series for bringing such fun, silly entertainment. Looking forward to the next one!

Really fun game I bought for my daughter to play. She loves being scarred by all the unexpected zombies that come at you when you least expect it. The graphics on PS5 make it look amazing compared to ps4 & the load time is butter baby!!

Excellent game! It is an excellent horror first-person shooter. It is a little difficult to get used to but the graphics are good, the pacing of the game is good and there is a good replayability with the harder difficulties.

Phenomenal dark follow up to RE7. Plot twist at the end is exceptionally done and not foreseen. Setting is great however I enjoyed RE7s setting better. Awesome enemies, great storyline, great graphics. Hats off to Capcom for another success.

A truly next gen experience and amazing with the new ps5 controller and headset. Fully immersive and no loading screens on ps5. The detail put into game is amazing and can't be stressed enough. It has great re4 vibes and re7. Not quite as scary as re7 but that's a good thing. This game is a masterpiece I will be replaying over and over. The deluxe has extras but the only thing useful is the Albert gun. Everything else seems to be cosmetics which is still cool.

Awesome game. Graphics on the ps5 are amazing. The at atmosphere and sound design is amazing. Totally freaks you out. Definitely a great buy and Best Buy has the best Black Friday deals and gaming discounts anywhere.

Excellent evolution of the RE7 formula... much more variety of enemies. If you're favorite part of RE7 was horror, be warned that this game does maintain that in many instances, but definitely has a stronger focus on action elements.

Really enjoyed this game, it has good graphics and an intriguing storyline.
