It’s more action-oriented rather than scary like RE7. It took approximately 11 hours to beat with some collectible hunting.

Great RE Title

If you liked Resident Evil 7 this one might be hit or miss as it’s not as terrifying which definitely sucked but the game itself is still great. I got all the trophies for it because it was that good. Worthy game.

My only 2 gripes is that the game is too short (finished in about 10 hours) and that the game was in third person view. Besides that it’s an outstanding game visually.

Issues transferring to PS5

Only issue is I get nauseous when playing this. Also, out of all the PS4 games we had on our PS4, only this one did NOT transfer our actual saved game data.

Great Resident Evil Game!

I don't know why but when I heard that Resident evil 8 village was closer to other resident evil titles like resident evil 4 I had to give it a try and I wasn't disappointed. I'm a little more than half way through the game and find myself thinking about playing the game during the day.

Great polished RE game

I hate jump scares, I think they're cheap. However RE series tend to make them satisfying for most people. I still hate them however I can't get over the fact that this game is well made and polished. So aside from this issue, great game
