RE4 is one of my favorite games ever and this is definitely RE4-2 LOL. A great game, more action than RE7 but still awesome.

Havnt got to play it yet. Not enough time in day...

Terrifying and jumpy at times, but not overly-so. It's a great balance between story, scary, gameplay, and ambiance.

I love this game. There were a couple of times I jumped out my seat cause it’s a bit errry if you play it in the dark.

Best resident evil game since resident evil 4. They have some similar mechanics but the graphics and ray tracing in this game are insane

Resident Evil Village is a great game although I personally felt that Capcom went back and leaned a bit too much into the 4,5,6 territory. If you enjoyed those resident evil games then you'll most likely enjoy village but personally, I was a bit disappointed with this direction considering the success and atmosphere of 7. The 4 lords are quite interesting however I felt that they barely explained their backgrounds. They come and go and before you know it, you have already finished their section without learning much about them. They added a variety of enemies which fixed the problem that 7 had with the molded. Resident Evil is often known for its level design and puzzles. Level design in the village(hub) doesn't feel completely great to traverse but it's fine and you could hardly call most of the "puzzles" in this game puzzles. Overall if you enjoy Resident evil and you don't mind paying full price then go ahead otherwise waiting for a sale of either $40 or less is bound to happen soon with RE games.

Great game and fun to play. Builds upon the RE7 mechanics rather than the RE2 and RE3 remakes. So if you like 7 you will like 8.

One of the better resident evil games. Not as good as 7, but still Capcom is headed in the right direction regarding what RE games should be. More of a mix of action and horror. Not as scary as 7, but one section is very well done to be scarier than most other games I’ve played lately. This game has a RE4 vibe for sure with the setting, the merchant and enemy types. This is on the higher end on my list of best RE games coming from someone who’s played every single one and has been playing the franchise for over 20 years.

Amazing graphics and the haptic feedback on the controller is trippy. Love all the resident evil games. This one is definitely it!

Immersive environments and scares that don’t feel cheesy. A true classic like Resident Evil 4 was. Superb storytelling.

Rmember when Resident Evil 7 was revealed and we, collectively, lost our minds? That game was good. This game is even better! You still play as Ethan Winters. It's still first-person. But the game returns to familiar locales (creepy castles, unsettling graveyards, and villages swarming with enemies). It's a return to form, at least in terms of gameplay. You'll see what I mean. It is a step in the right direction and I can't wait to see where Capcom takes us next. Buy this already. You know you want to.

This game is a direct sequel to re7. However i most times didn't find it as scary as 7. It still dark but just not as it was in 7. That said its amazing game, great addition to the re franchise. Graphics on ps5 were incredible. Only major flaw is its pretty short.

My favorite entry in the series. It kept me guessing all the way through and was very payable. Wonderful graphics on the PS5 too!

Great storyline driven survival horror title. If you have not played the prior title #7 you should start there.

Very good Resident Evil game. If you like being scared then you need to play this one.

I really enjoyed this game!! So much action and scared me a couple of times lol. I wish it was longer, but still worth the buy.

Village is not as scary as RE7. This has more action a lot more enemies coming at you.

Big Resident Evil fan here. Village is a worthy addition to the series and follows up Biohazard really well. Totally recommend

FINALLY, A RESIDENT EVIL I CAN GET BEHIND! I DID NOT GET TO PLAY RE7, SO COMING IN TO THIS GAME WITH A FIRST PERSON SHOOTER PERSPECTIVE, I WAS A LITTLE HESITANT. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED THOUGH, AS THE STORY IS BONKERS AND GRAPHICS ARE UNREAL!!!
