Amazing graphics and gameplay with awesome setting

Was a little hesitant in buying this cause of the mixed reviews. But im glad i ignored them to try for myself and no regrets. Yes its different then other RE titles because younhave to think fast and keep moving for the most part. Guess some players want to stop and smell the roses, but not going to happen in village

Very good game. Finished my first play through last night. The graphic quality was stunning. Ray tracing makes a huge difference. It really smooths out the edges. A big difference in it from RE7. Great storyline now trying to collect everything to take a shot at Village of Shadows difficulty. A must have game!

Resident Evil Village or Resident Evil 8, I been playing RE series since Resident evil 2 for Nintendo 64 and love all their main games old and new games, and this game doesn't disappoints its just as good as 7. A must for any resident evil fan.

Sequel to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Village gives fans an completely different gameplay approach. Despite this game being so fast pace, I’d say it’s a lot longer than the previous game. There’s a lot to appreciate about this game, I strongly recommend it because it certainly lives up to its hype.

Do not play before finishing RE7. That said, this game is pure *chef's kiss* from the interactive prologue to the credits. of course it's not actually 100% perfect; hoarding the "good ammo" on normal difficulty makes bosses too easy and harder difficulties can be irritating. still 5/5

Very fun game, but wish it was scarier. Definitely the best looking Resident Evil so far and it closes Ethan Winter's story in a good way.

Resident Evil is back! This game is so engrossing with the setting and cast of characters. The villains are some of the most interesting in the series and the upgrades to weapons kept me going through multiple playthroughs. If you liked Resident Evil 7, you must play this game.

I have been a fan of the Resident Evil franchise from the beginning! I really like the equal balance of horror and combat in this game as well as the extra variety of monsters to fight. The first person perspective still feels weird, but overall I love this game.

Not quite as good as its predecessor, but there's alot to like about this game. More action and faster paced than RE7.

I'm a big fan of the Resident Evil series. But a big reason I've been a fan of the series is that I like gunning down zombies. This game, with its werewolves, was a big disappointment. I don't like the main character, Ethan, either. I would replay any of the other modern Resident Evil remakes before revisiting this game.

This game is an awesome follow up to Resident Evil 7, which I really enjoyed and played multiple times. Village is accessible, entertaining, and a cool continuation of Ethan's story from 7. It was genuinely spooky in some parts and the villains are creative and unsettling!

I hadn't played a Resident Evil game for over a decade and I came back for this because I'm exploring everything the PS5 has to offer. I was entirely blown away. It may not push the PS5 to its limits but the game is incredible. A must play for PS5 owners.

Interesting storyline and gameplay was descent. First person does a good job making it more Suspenseful at times

Creepy game! The weird baby blob you have to hide from is terrifying. The only annoying part is picking up items/opening drawers. You have to stand at just the right spot (versus simply being near it) to get the prompt. Ready for the next installment to come out!

Great followup to Resident Evil 7. I am really beginning to enjoy the first-person perspective in Resident Evil games. While RE7 brought back the scares, RE8 brings back the combat I loved from Resident Evil 4. Great pacing and boss fights. Really enjoyed this one.

Pretty scary with 3D surround sound fun game got it for $19 because I refuse to pay full price $79 is atrocious!

This is one intense scary game that some nights I can’t play alone in the dark, Capcom seems to always come out with a fresh new take on their classic zombie game. I hope one day they add VR support once Sony releases The PS5 VR headset.
