If you were a fan of ‘Resident Evil 4’ and ‘Resident Evil 7’ - you will most likely enjoy your time with this new entry. The PS4 version includes a free PS5 upgrade.

Survival horror at it's best!

The fact it veers off what made RE7 good and it’s not as scary due to fan complaints really was a bummer for me and there are sections in this game that take it way to sci-fi. On the other hand it plays and looks like RE7 with more polish. Gameplay is tight and responsive.

Not as scary as RE7, but still packs a lot of fun and action with a nice variety of regions to explore and go through.

If you're a fan of Resident Evil (especially the more action-focused titles), you will definitely enjoy this. It's not really scary, but it's fun and enjoyable nonetheless.

Incase of individuals who hate scary games, you should be OK with this title. Resident evil village has less jump scares than RE7 and has less jump scares overall.

Getaway weekend to the village

The story is fine, but everything else is top tier and so addicting to play.

If You Like Resident Evil, You’ll Like This

It’s much more open and a different feel to the horror than 7, but still loads of fun I’d say!
