this game is incredible. lots of scares, especially one section that was probably the scariest portion in any video game. very intense. more action oriented than 7 in a way that's scarier (to me) than any other resident evil i've played so far. don't get me started on the tall lady. really enjoying this game.

Had a great time playing through the game. A solid storyline!

As a longtime Resident Evil fan, I hold this series close to my heart. I almost wrote off the franchise after the horrible Resident Evil 6. Then in 2017, Resident Evil 7 was released and proved that it can be fun and scary. When Resident Evil Village was announced in 2020, I was hooked by the gothic village with the menacing castle backdrop. Cut to today. I LOVED this game! Village is a bog game to explore and has a compelling story. It's brilliant how they managed to weave classic monster tropes such as vampires, werewolves, and a version of Frankenstein into this game without breaking the trend of past Resident Evil games. What I loved more is that they brought back the long-missing Mercenaries mode that had been missing from past games for years. I also HIGHLY recommend that you play this game with a headset on for the full effect. There's one level that is TERRIFYING because of the sound effects. After this game, I don't know how Capcom is going to follow up with Resident Evil 9 but I am looking forward to it.

Resident evil village is another fantastic entry in the resident evil franchise. Although not as jumpy as resident evil 7, resident evil 8 still has great monster design and beautiful graphics engine to compliment. The story was captivating and motivated me to keep going to unravel the mystery.

Not as scary as the previous games but still a good one.

Do not play before finishing RE7. That said, this game is pure *chef's kiss* from the interactive prologue to the credits. of course it's not actually 100% perfect; hoarding the "good ammo" on normal difficulty makes bosses too easy and harder difficulties can be irritating. still 5/5

I'm having fun playing RE Village. It reminds me of RE4. The story is great and there's plenty of action. I like that you can replay the story and have all your upgrades with you. The game is designed to run the story twice. You wont be able to upgrade all the weapons in just one run.

The Village is a long playing game with top notch game play and graphics. Take your time with it as it's long. It got a bit tedious at one point when I was not sure of what to do next or where to go but in the end, it's a keeper and one of the best RE games to date.

Great game and follow-up to Resident Evil 7. The graphics are gorgeous and the gameplay is a lot of fun. The story itself is quite different from the usual Resident Evil experience and that's what makes it so fun. I enjoyed it from start to finish.

Perfect Resident Evil game! I do not like Fps too much but the environment, sound, and monsters all around made it a must-experience! Absolutely has replay value. New characters on par with anyone’s favorites! And the story pushes Resident Evil forward in satisfying ways.

Not as innovative and intense as RE7, but still very much worth playing. Lady Dimitrescu will definitely leave an impression on you.

My husband bought the game. He's a big Resident Evil fan. He and my teenage daughter completed the game in a week! The baby is horrifying. Graphics on the game are awesome though! As expected. Easy to follow storyline. Not my favorite game. But a good one.

Amazing game! I think it might even be better than Resident Evil 7. It’s first-person horror suspense. The story is gripping and the combat is fun. It has good puzzles and it’s just so interesting that you’ll keep playing it until you’re finished with it.

Fantastic game and I have literally nothing to criticize about it. Great gameplay, graphics are fantastic, great mix of fighting and horror, and even a perfect mix of puzzles. Not nearly as scary as RE7, but just as good as a game of not better.

great! i would definately recommend it to others it had non stop action, and the first day i played for a few hours straight! the price was right and BESTBUY has the BEST DEALS!

Best resident evil game I’ve ever played , loved the graphics and the story . Wish it was a little longer of game play though . I’d say maybe 8 -9 hours of game play which was pretty short , some of the bosses were easy to beat

Phenomenal dark follow up to RE7. Plot twist at the end is exceptionally done and not foreseen. Setting is great however I enjoyed RE7s setting better. Awesome enemies, great storyline, great graphics. Hats off to Capcom for another success.
