Great hardware, terrible software.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve used many different models of dash cams, some excellent and some just downright garbage. I bought this Rexing 4G dash cam to replace a terrible Nexar Beam2 Mini (highly NOT recommended by the way). This rexing dash cam has proven to be very reliable in terms of connection to 4G and accessing footage from anywhere. The price of the subscription is fair. The camera itself is of very high quality, with an included rear camera for $299, but I bought this on sale for $199. Video quality is impressive on the front but the rear needs improvement. The sound quality also needs some improvement. Installation was straightforward and easy with just a single connection to the OBD port. The app though leaves a lot to be desired. The app is riddled with bugs and poor English. Also very complicated to navigate. There is no option to connect directly to the camera’s WiFi while in the car. You can only view footage and download through the 4G connection, which will use up a lot of your data. Lastly, just being nitpicky, but the light on the camera itself can be very bright and distracting. I’ve solved this by just putting a piece of black tape on it. I recommend this camera over Nexar, but the app could definitely be improved. This camera just came onto the market, so I’m sure they will make some needed updates to the app.

Rexing Dash Cam
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m really impressed with the Rexing 4G LTE 2-Channel Dash Cam—crisp 2.5K front + 1080p rear video, GPS tracking, parking mode and instant push alerts make it a standout. Easy to install and gives me great peace of mind on the road.

Pretty danggood
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid dash cam. Recommend connecting to it Via WiFi whenever you need to do something but the cellular ability works really well in a pinch or if you just need to view anything like trips. Use the WiFi for any video viewing. The video quality is amazing and it hooks up easily through the OBD port so really anyone can install it. Good job Rexing.

So far, so good!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a dash cam ASAP, and found this one on a really good sale, so I went with it. So far, I am loving it. I had it installed professionally at BB, which was good quality for a good price. This camera has the option for all the internet stuff and cloud storage, but I am--at this point in my life--more comfortable with old school SD card. Thanks, BB, Rexing, and the guy who installed it!

Just get the Rexing brand
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second Rexing brand dashcam. I liked mine so much we wanted one for my wife’s SUV. Unlike my unit, where it saves locally to a SD card and is accessible via WiFi on the device, her unit offers data plans starting at 9.99 where you can view footage remotely and save to the cloud. I’ve owned a lot of dash cams in the past and this brand has been the most reputable. If you travel a lot or use your car for work or delivery, it’s really wise to get something like this that covers both front and rear of the car, while also being reliable!

Not good
|Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a good camera when it works excpet when you actually need it, got hit by an object and it dint even activate the crash detection as it was a hard hit. When i check back the footage to get the plates it looks like it purposely blurs the plates. Its not 4k or anything hut i cant even read one letter? So now im left with damage to my car where i have to pqy because the guy took oof and I have no way to find who it was.

New Features, New Camera 4G Lte
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to buy this camera to replace my existing camera, the installation was easy, it was not necessary to go to a professional installation service, at first it looked complicated especially the installation of the rear camera, but when I tried it all came out very easy. It is missing that they clearly specify which way to orient the rear camera, since in my first attempt the image was upside down, I thought that in the software I could reverse it but I could not find any option to do that, so I had to remove it, turn it upside down and reattach it again, this time in the right way. I loved the connector to power the camera, it doesn't require a usb port or a car charger, it's great that you just plug into the ODB2 port and avoid installing a complex kit for full-featured operation. As for the image is very good and you can clearly distinguish the other cars and sometimes even the license plates of other cars, the sun causes problems if you have it directly in front of you, I sincerely believe that they can improve in that aspect, I feel that it lacks a higher quality video, especially in places where the sun is intense. I am a little concerned that it is not easy to remove it from the windshield, it is not that you just slide and that's it, the power cable is not so easy to remove and put back, the heat in my area is intense in summer, easily reaches or exceeds 110 F, too much heat and taking into account that this camera heats up in normal use I do not know if it will withstand the high temperatures where I live, we will see with use and after a few months. The software is easy to install, you have to register to get an account and with the barcode that comes in the camera was easy to pair it with the software, the application is mostly understandable without reviewing a manual but if there are things that you have to give a good search to find him, for example to activate the microphone of the camera I had to go into several options to find where to turn off and on the microphone of the camera, it would be great if it had a physical button to do that, if you do not pay for the cloud service you will lose several features and you may not have the full experience although it is still functional and you can live with that if you prefer to do without the cloud service. Overall I think this camera is worth it, especially if you want to take advantage of services like push notifications and cloud service.

Reliable and Clear Dash Cam with Handy 4G Features
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the Rexing 4G LTE 2-Channel Dash Cam and I’m really happy with it. The video quality is great—super clear both in the front (2.5K) and rear (1080p). I like that it has GPS to track where I’ve been, and the 4G feature is really handy for getting alerts and checking footage from my phone. The parking mode gives me peace of mind when the car’s parked. Setup wasn’t too hard, and the camera feels well-made. The LTE plan does cost extra, but I think it’s worth it for the added security.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5 stars — Best Dash Cam I’ve E
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Rexing 4G LTE Dash Cam is hands down one of the best purchases I’ve made. Installation was incredibly easy—even if you’re not tech-savvy, you’ll have it up and running in minutes. The build quality feels premium and reliable, and the video clarity is excellent day or night. What really sets this dash cam apart is the 4G LTE connectivity. Being able to access the live feed from anywhere at any time gives me complete peace of mind. Whether I’m at work or traveling, I know I can check in on my car and make sure everything is safe. It’s also a huge relief knowing that when a family member is driving, I can monitor their safety in real time. If you’re looking for reliability, security, and convenience all in one, this dash cam is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!

Excellent dashcam that you can monitor anywhere
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using this dash cam for a little over a month now, and I must say that it is a significant upgrade from my previous one. One of the biggest advantages is the option to sign up for their service, which allows you to receive alerts on your phone whenever something happens. You can also easily open the app to view footage directly from your cell phone. In terms of video quality, I would rate it a 10/10. I conducted a few tests, and when I set the video quality to the maximum, I could easily read the license plates, even when the cars were not right in front of me. This feature will be incredibly useful if I ever find myself involved in a hit-and-run or an accident. The installation process was straightforward and very simple. I drive an Escalade, and there was plenty of cord to reach all the way to my back window. Additionally, the app was easy to use, and I signed up for the trial, which allows me to connect to my cam without needing to plug anything in or remove the memory card.

Cool Camera, worth the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second Rexing camera, and so far it’s been a solid upgrade. I replaced an older, non-Rexing model in my truck and immediately appreciated the improvements. One of the main reasons I chose this model is that it doesn’t have a screen. I really don’t like a bright display shining in my face at night, so the screen-free design is a big plus for me. It also makes the camera much more discrete from the outside, which adds some peace of mind. Installation was easy, and the app connection has been reliable so far. Considering all the features and the performance, I definitely feel like it’s worth the money. If you want a discreet, dependable dash cam setup with modern features, this one is a goodchoice.

Crystal clear and great connectivity features
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been looking to upgrade my dash cam as my old one didn't have parking mode and it was difficult to retrieve videos. This Rexing dashcam is far better than what I was used to. Not only is the picture crystal clear, but also the connectivity makes it easy for me to get the videos. I like how I can choose to use the cloud (or not), which can help make it way easier to get the videos that I want. The license plate text is not a problem with this one and I trust that if anything were to happen, even when my vehicle is parked, I won't have any problems getting evidence to see what happened.

Good Dash Cam with Strong Video and Remote Access
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Rexing 4G LTE Dash Cam has been a great addition to my car. What I like most is the ability to get instant alerts and view footage from my phone, no matter where I am. The video quality is sharp, especially the front camera, and it records smoothly. The parking mode is also a great feature—it gives me peace of mind when I leave my car overnight. Setup was manageable with a bit of patience. The monthly LTE cost is something to keep in mind, but for me, the remote access is totally worth it.

Good 4G Dash Cam
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Rexing M2 4G LTE 2-Channel Dash Cam offers high-resolution recording, real-time connectivity, and advanced parking surveillance. After some testing, here's my take: Pros: Excellent Video Quality: The 2.5K front and 1080p rear cameras deliver crisp, clear footage. License plates and other crucial details are easily discernible, even in varying lighting conditions. 4G LTE Connectivity: This is the star feature. The ability to remotely view live footage, receive push notifications for events (like impacts or motion detection), and track your vehicle's location via GPS is useful. Reliable GPS: The integrated GPS accurately tracks your vehicle's speed and location, which is helpful for insurance claims Innovating Parking Mode: The various parking mode options (motion detection, impact detection, and time-lapse) provide peace of mind while your car is parked. The push notifications for these events are prompt and helpful. User-Friendly App: The Rexing Connect app is relatively intuitive and allows for easy access to recorded videos, live view, and settings adjustments. Dual Channel Recording: Front and rear camera recording is important, and this model delivers both. Motion Detection and Push Alerts: The motion detection is sensitive enough to catch relevant events, and the push alerts are very fast. Cons: 4G LTE Subscription Required: While the connectivity is a plus, it does require a separate 4G LTE data plan. This adds to the overall cost. App Stability: While generally good, I experienced occasional app crashes or slow loading times. Overall: The Rexing M2 4G LTE Dash Cam is a powerful and feature-rich device that offers excellent protection and connectivity. The high-quality video, reliable GPS, and robust parking mode make it a solid choice for anyone looking for a premium dash cam. Be prepared for the ongoing cost of the 4G LTE subscription.

Easy Install But….
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve owned several Rexing dash cams and picture quality is always great. I’ve hard wired all except 1 Rexing dash cams which didn’t have an option to. When I saw this with WiFi and OBD2 plug in option it was a no brainer. Super easy physical install… but connecting to my phone via the OnaGo was not so great. Did everything with the provided limited instruction said to do. The app said to format SD card (which was included), but would not let me. The camera would say, “format SD card” and it would not let me in order to get the camera working. I emailed Rexing support they were great and patient, but they don’t work on weekends, answers are only provided during the week. I had to uninstall the app and reinstall the app several times in order for it to work. Other than the vague instructions, the videos from the camera, day or night are clear, the 4G LTE is good but I think a bit expensive at $9.99 mth, All in all, a good dash cam but with some frustrations.

Great Dash Cam for Peace of Mind and Easy Remote
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the Rexing 4G LTE Dash Cam mainly for peace of mind, and it does a great job. The video quality is sharp—both front and rear views look great even at night. I really like the push notifications when motion is detected; it makes me feel like my car is being watched even when I’m not around. The app is pretty easy to use, and I can check footage remotely. Setup took a bit of time, but once it’s done, it works smoothly. Overall, a solid camera with useful features.

Rexing best on market
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Rexing has always been pretty smooth and easy to use. This one plugs directly into OBD car port. So if you’re like me and the auxiliary ppower is constantly taken, this is awesome. Don’t have to directly wire it to the vehicle. Will need to make at for a plan to get video and recordings playback.

A Must-Have Guardian for Every Drive!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I rarely write reviews, but this dash cam deserves every single one of its five stars – and more! From the moment I installed it, I felt a new level of security and peace of mind on the road. The video quality is simply phenomenal. The footage is crystal clear, capturing license plates and crucial details in its wide viewing area. I was a bit worried about the installation process since you have to tuck in a lot of cord in order to make it look nice in the vehicle. Installation ended up being a lot easier than expected, you just have to tuck in the write as you go along and occasionally use the tool that is provided to get the cord hidden behind panels. I had it set up and recording within minutes, thanks to the intuitive design and clear instructions. The end result is a professional looking installation that is barely noticeable and doesn't interfere with your field of view of the road. What truly sets this dash cam apart are its many features. It has all the normal bells and whistles that you would expect from a top of the line dash cam, plus several more features that go above and beyond the usual with its built-in 4g connectivity. Although there is a monthly fee to receive some of these features, it's dependent on your own needs and preferences if the added fee is worth it or to just use the memory card with loop recording and the G-sensor footage lock. For me personally the extra fee is well worth it for what you get. I have a teenager that also often drives my car, so with the extra subscription features I receive is a huge add- on for my piece of mind as a parent. Not in the sense of being able to track my daughter's whereabouts, but that if anything were to happen and let's say not her fault, then I have the proof to defend her, along with receiving instant notifications of an accident immediately and can see where exactly she is in case of emergency! Honestly, this dash cam isn’t just a gadget; it’s an essential piece of equipment for any driver. It’s an investment in safety, security, and peace of mind, regardless of if you do or don't utilize the additional monthly fee features. If you’re on the fence, jump off and buy this one – you won’t regret it!

Great dash cam. Another excellent Rexing product!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great camera!! Comes with both front and rear. Had great experiences with other Rexing products and so far no different for my first ever dash cam. Was skeptical at first about getting one but I actually feel I am now a more cautious driver cause I am not gonna want to be providing evidence against myself lol. It is a great piece of mind knowing if I get rear ended or someone tries to fraud me all the proof you need is at your fingertips. This model comes with cellular connection for alerts and remote viewing. It comes with a 64GB micro SD card but I upped it to a 128GB I had laying around. You do need to pay the monthly fee for the app and remote features but it very reasonable IMO. The video quality is great. I know other models have built in screens to review footage but to me that is not necessary with today’s technology. You pay a monthly fee and get to view your camera footage and get alerts, plus a phone screen is gonna be much bigger and better than any dash cam with a screen built in. Install was a pain for me but that is not on Rexing and that will vary based different car models. Thought about having Geek Squad do it but based on past installations(not only from Best Buy) I just don’t trust others to do a mediocre job or break parts and have to fight about it. Both cameras have nice heft and feel solid, very well built. I do worry about the adhesive failing eventually(hopefully a long time away) but after 2 weeks even in the hot weather still feels solid so only time will tell. Only thing I wished it had was a small coverable hd camera to record the cabin.
