This adapter is an absolute game-changer for anyone looking to get rid of their the cables without sacrificing performance. Its reliability stands out immediately, the connection is snappy and stable, auto-connecting before I even leave my driveway with zero lag during navigation. What I love most is its super compact footprint, it is so small that it tucks away out of sight, making the CarPlay experience feel like a natively integrated factory feature rather than an aftermarket add-on. It’s a seamless, "set it and forget it" upgrade that has modernized my daily drive.

I will admit, I have purchased quite a few Rexing products and I do promote them to others. I have always been satisfied with both the equipment and their customer service if I ever had a problem. This wireless adapter is no exception. It is an upgrade from the previous CPW-22 I had as it takes up less space. It is an upgrade for those who want to remove the hassle of all the cords of a wired carplay or andriod auto.

I purchased this because both my wife and I have different iPhone's with different connectors and we were tired of dealing with the cords. We have both a Kia EV6 and a Telluride. The Rexing CPW-42 works great and automatically connects Car Play and then our phone connects to it. I have not noticed any difference between the connection speed when plugged into the car or using the wireless feature. Everything seems to work flawlessly. It is also very straight forward to connect. My only downside and the reason I give it 4 vs. 5 stars is that it only seeks to connect to the last phone that connected to it. so if I want to use my phone and my wife previously had her phone connected, I have to manually connect mine via Bluetooth. I contacted support and they confirmed this functionality and are compiling a list of people interested in this feature. If they get enough, they will issue a software upgrade that will be downloaded to the device when a phone is connected.

I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, therefore I was using this with Android Auto. I was always jealous getting into a car where Android Auto would start up automatically without them plugging a cable in. My GMC Terrain from 2012 only has wired Android Auto. The setup of the Rexing CPW-42 was incredibly easy. All you do is start the car, plug the device into the USB port and then find the device in your Bluetooth settings. It took about a minute the first time for the device to show up in my Bluetooth settings on my phone. After it connected, Android Auto started automatically on my cars screen. I have all of the same features as I normally would with wired Android Auto. Since I play music through Android Auto and use Google maps, this is something I use everyday. The convenience of this starting automatically without the hassle of a wire is well worth it. After the initial setup. the device connects to my phone within 20 seconds and starts Android Auto on my screen. Definitely would recomend.

Works very well and connected right away after pairing it with my phone. It did initially drop a call or two but hasn’t since. I have plenty of Rexing dash cams so it’s a brand I’m very familiar with. Their products are always simple to use and pretty reliable. CarPlay works with all the apps and couldn’t be happier. It’s nice that it’s small and not too bulky and it does come with a USB C adapter if needed.

I bought one for my car and for my wife's. I plugged them in, connected our phones, and instant connection using Android Auto. It has worked for both since with no seen issues so far.

This works great - no issues connecting with my Pixel 9 and android auto. It connects quickly and holds the connection. I thought it would be flaky or have issues, but I've had it for 10 days so far and haven't had any problems. Its nice to not have to plug the cord in anymore.

This little adapter works great! Plugged it in once, paired my phone, and now it connects wirelessly every time I start the car. Music, maps, and calls all run smooth with almost no lag. There’s a tiny delay when first starting up, but it’s way better than dealing with a cable every drive. Totally worth it!

I have a Honda CR- V 2021 and followed the instructions for installation and pairing to my Samsung fllp phone about a couple of weeks ago and works great, no cord plugin anymore!

Always connects and works great! Sometimes if you’re already on the phone when you get int the car, there is some difficulty with the call requiring you to hang and reconnect. Overall though, it’s a great buy.

I have another Rexing product for my vehicle that works great so I decided to try this wireless carplay product by Rexing. My vehicle supports wired carplay but not wireless natively, so this adapter is necessary. Setup was very easy (instructions in the box) as it is plug and play, then connect with your phone. Every time you start your vehicle, it will automatically connect and you'll have wireless carplay. Very much worth the price and highly recommend!

I was frustrated with the disconnection that I had with the wired Google Play device I had previously. I assume that it was because when the hit a bump or any type of rough movement would cause the cable to move and then disconnect. I think my theory was proven because this wireless version does not disconnect. I've had this for 4 months and driven long distance. I'm very happy with this device and I would recommend it those that have a cable connection to give this a try. It immediately connects to my phone when I start the car.

I have an older truck with bluetooth however it's kind of spotty at best. Really would like to use my iPhone in there for music and such but the cheap bluetooth receivers/transmitters I see are pretty poor quality for the cheap ones. Came across this one as I've been a Rexing dash cam user for quite a while. This thing works pretty well. Able to use my iPhone 16 Pro Max in my truck more consistently now thanks to this. Sound quality is OK but the signal strength is what I'm most impressed with. Pretty much have good connection with this. My other bluetooth transimitters/receivers cut out once every 10-15 seconds. This one seems more stable for me.

Worked great right out of the box with my 2018 Subaru Outback. I love no longer having to plug into the USB port. I've been using this for about a month and have had no issues. It connects pretty quickly - I haven't timed it but I'd estimate by about 5 seconds.
