We had used an off name adapter from amazon for over a year with periodic issues, but recently became unbearable. This adapter was super simple, connected quick and after using for a little while, worth reviewing. Definitely worth the purchase if you want to go wireless!

I got this for my daughter's car. Not having to plug the phone in every time you get in the car is so convenient. The set up was very easy. No disconnecting issues while using it. I'm going to order one for my son's car next.

I was frustrated with the disconnection that I had with the wired Google Play device I had previously. I assume that it was because when the hit a bump or any type of rough movement would cause the cable to move and then disconnect. I think my theory was proven because this wireless version does not disconnect. I've had this for 4 months and driven long distance. I'm very happy with this device and I would recommend it those that have a cable connection to give this a try. It immediately connects to my phone when I start the car.

Rexing CPW 42 wireless adapter is a must for your car If it has wired CarPlay or Android Auto to make it wireless. It makes my life easier as I don’t need to add my phone with usb cable anymore and it is the best product in the market.

Always connects and works great! Sometimes if you’re already on the phone when you get int the car, there is some difficulty with the call requiring you to hang and reconnect. Overall though, it’s a great buy.

This Wireless Apple CarPlay adapter was easy to install. Following the included directions was quick to get my phone setup in a couple minutes. Once paired, the wireless connects quickly when entering the vehicle. Much more convenient without needing wires.

Bought because my truck doesn't have wireless car play. Connects with ease but when I receive a call we can't hear each other. I can make a call just fine. No other issues

I have an older truck with bluetooth however it's kind of spotty at best. Really would like to use my iPhone in there for music and such but the cheap bluetooth receivers/transmitters I see are pretty poor quality for the cheap ones. Came across this one as I've been a Rexing dash cam user for quite a while. This thing works pretty well. Able to use my iPhone 16 Pro Max in my truck more consistently now thanks to this. Sound quality is OK but the signal strength is what I'm most impressed with. Pretty much have good connection with this. My other bluetooth transimitters/receivers cut out once every 10-15 seconds. This one seems more stable for me.

Great product! easy to use! sure makes life alot better knowing you don't have to plug your phone into your car anymore. Installations was simple and using it was a no brainer. I love the simple fast responds and being able to access better GPS

I should have bought this instant fix for wireless CarPlay years ago. It works and setup is a breeze. It connects automatically with no trouble every time I start up my truck. I love it. There is one small glitchy thing, about half the time, upon first connect, the music playing from my iPhone starts right up for 10 seconds, then cuts out for 2 seconds then it works as expected with no issues at all. Honestly, it doesn't bother me since I get the benefits of wireless CarPlay on my 2021 Ram 1500 now which I am super stoked about.

Very small and portable. Connected fairly fast after setup. Worth it for cars without wireless Android Auto / car play.

I've only had Android Auto with two cars and one brand of phone - Hyundais and Ssmsung phones. Both cars and mutliple phones would occasionally disconnect and reconnect a few times before settling down. New cables mad no difference. Figured I'd give wireless a try. Haven't had a single disconnect since using it. However everything isn't peachy, but it's not a fault of the adapter. Since you're connecting wirelessly, expect to drain the battery. Mine drains about 8% per hour. Not bad, except that if I'm on a long drive I can't charge while casting because the Fold overheats and stops charging. Not Rexing's problem, but something to keep in mind when buying one. I don't know how a flat phone fares, but it could possibly do better with heat dissipation. My fat phone can't even use the wireless charger in my car without overheating. So, trade off is stable connection but a 8%/hour drain. I'd say 90% of the time, the drain isn't worth worrying about but keep a cable nearby in case you need to swap back to wired.

The adapter was very quick and easy to set up. I've been using it for a few weeks now and the connection is always very quick to start, and is very stable. Very good quality for the price.
