I still am working on getting the rear view camera installed this week. I will submit an update once I get that done. Overall so far a good experience

Good idea but Not Worth It

The rearview image is basically useless due to the combination of tint on my back window and the tint on the mirror screen itself. Add sunglasses to the mix, and it's 10 times worse — I literally can't see anything. It’s driving me crazy. The front camera quality is actually good. I end up turning the display off every time just so I can use it as a regular mirror. With all the layers of tint, it's like looking into a dark smudge — not safe and not practical. I regret the purchase, and I wouldn’t buy it again. Just not worth the hassle.

We're sorry to hear about your experience. The M2 is designed to function as a standard rearview mirror with recording capability. The screen only activates when using features like the backup camera. You can remove the screen film to use it as a regular mirror.

Great product but Best Buy install price deceptive

But rating lower because the Best Buy install pricing was deceptive. I purchased the installation at the time that I bought the product. But when I showed up for the installation appointment, they told me it would be another $80. Frustrated that this wasn’t caught at the time of purchase. As I would have considered other options.
