When it work's, it works great. The issue is when hardwiring it turns off automaticallt and never turns on in some cases. Weird izzus.

Installation is a bit of a hassle but works great.

Very poor rear view image. The back up guide lines are off a lot. Do not recommend this item at all. I would shop around to find something better. Other then that very easy to use and front camera is just fine. I have to put 50 words here yet nothing more to say. Just filling space so this will post lol. picture not clear at all, very bleary, not useful at all(USELESS). This is my third Rexing i bought. when i complained, i was told to buy a new one again.. and I did. I just bought rexing 4. product will arrive in 2 weeks. I buy this products because i trust Best Buy. To be honest, I am beginning to lose faith in your product. I will wait for the rexing 4 to arrive and install in my car. you see , i buy auto dash cam because i am 80 yrs old.. kind of protection for me.LIKE A SAFETY NET

Great product, but went with a new stereo and backup camera

The Rexing - M2 Max Pro 4K WiFi GPS Mirror Dash Cam is my first foray into dashcams. Initial unpacking and inspecting the dashcam, I noticed it did not include a micro SD card for recording. So, first step I went to BestBuy.com and purchased the a 256gb micro SD card and went to pick it up. They also included two fuse taps for the hardwiring. However, my fuses were the micro 2 fuse kinds, so I had to order the micro 2 fuse taps. If you know how wire a basic car stereo, then hardwiring should be a snap. You have 3 connections, ground, constant 12v, and accessory/switched 12v. Plus tucking wires along the headliner and removing door seals for easier access. BUT, if you wanted to make it real easy use the cigarette lighter plug, then you only have to run the rear view cam to the back. the Rexing - M2 Max Pro 4K WiFi GPS Mirror Dash Cam uses two rubber straps to mount to your current rear view mirror. I was really amazed by the 4K picture quality. I was amazed by what the Rexing - M2 Max Pro 4K WiFi GPS Mirror Dash Cam saw that my own eyes did not! The Rexing - M2 Max Pro 4K WiFi GPS Mirror Dash Cam is a very versatile on what is displayed on the dash cam. You can view front, rear, side by side front/rear and regular mirror (however that view looks like an auto dim rear view). It is a touch screen and settings were easily accessible, plus it also comes with a GPS sensor. The Rexing - M2 Max Pro 4K WiFi GPS Mirror Dash Cam displays time, date, direction, and speed. It also has other driver safety features such as blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning and distance avoidance warning, that can be toggled on or off in settings. Not to mention, it can record internal audio also. The only thing cons would be no included SD card, but those are really easy to get (ahem BestBuy.com). It would have been nice to include homelink/garage door controls on the Rexing - M2 Max Pro 4K WiFi GPS Mirror Dash Cam. Overall, I'm really impressed, happy about the Rexing - M2 Max Pro 4K WiFi GPS Mirror Dash Cam. I would highly recommend it!

I purchased this mirror dash cam for my SUV, primarily for parking assistance, as my existing rearview camera lacks markup lines. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. The markup lines don’t align with the actual parking lot size, making it unhelpful. Additionally, the screen has excessive glare on bright days, even at maximum brightness, rendering it nearly unusable. While the dash cam features, like continuous recording, work fine, that wasn’t my primary purpose for buying it. Installation was also challenging—I ended up spending $200 on professional installation and an SD card, making the total investment feel like a waste. If you’re looking for a reliable parking assistant, I wouldn’t recommend this product. For dash cam use, it’s acceptable but doesn’t justify the cost.

Set up was far too involved and intrusive to my vehicle. I returned it. I didn't like the idea of losing my rear view mirror to accommodate it's installation.

I had to go 3 times to have it worked on because the thing would not show the screen .finally I switch to another brand

I gave it 2 stars because a few items need to be fixed. First of all no way to change it from Kmph to mph. The gps says NW when im pointing south, east or north. The micrphone and alert system has a distorted voice. The app says failed to load. Time zone is in gmt i need cst. This is the first dash cam ive ever had so many problems with. I should have gone with cobra.

It made my car battery die. I hooked it up and in less than 30 minutes it drained my battery, and killed a spark plug.

Do not put on the parking sensor. It drained my battery after 3 weeks.

The front camera broke on day four. It doesn't fit so it was useless to use as a mirror as it pointed at my roof. Would never buy this kind of dash cam again.

The box made it seem easier to install and it was so big. And the straps would deteriorate fast because they are plastic/rubber and they sit right where the sun would hit.

This is a very cool piece of tech to keep you safe and to bear witness when somebody accuses you of something that you did not do. Now you have it on video recording and there will be little to dispute. Dash cams should be standard in every car. This is 2024 and while some cars are coming equipped with modern cameras, not every manufacturer is on board yet. Setting this up was very easy in my Jeep. I chose to direct wire it to my auxiliary switches, which took about ten minutes. I was very impressed to see that this kit came with the hardwire cable as well as a cigarette lighter plug for power. The video quality is better than my current very high-end dash cam, made by a radar detector company whom I won't mention. This will be replacing that camera very soon. I love the split display view from passenger view to rear view. The screen is ingenious as it lays over top of your existing rear view mirror. I have tried a lot of dash cams on the market and this is one of the most unique and useful approaches yet. Highly recommended.

Too heavy for rearview mirror on my scion. As soon as I drove off it slowly moved the mirror down out of position due to weight.
