It's a pretty good smart camera. The video quality is decent for most conditions but suffers in low light during night driving. The parking monitor will only work if you can wire it to a hot fuse that has constant power, which may or may not be possible for your particular situation. The smart features only work for the front or for the rear area of the vehicle. You will have to prioritize what is important to you.

I’ve had this dash cam for over 2 months now. It was professionally installed so I’m not sure how easy it is to set up on your own. It gets the front and back view pretty well like panoramic view almost. I do suggest getting the rear view camera installed in the exterior of the car and not inside. Because when it rains it just covers up everything and you can’t rely on it. There is also really terrible glare on the rear view mirror making it hard to see. It can get confusing to figure out what you’re looking at. So be extra careful. As for the file explorer, it glitches often and when I try to just watch one video, it skips and skips next to the video making it hard to review the videos in the car. I have not tried using the app yet. But so far when I do rewatch the videos, the quality looks nice.

Easy to install. Great clarity. Only issue is I have a Ford Escape where the 12v power plug is always live so it still captures video even with the car off and when parking mode is off. I may need to hardwire.

I'm not sure what Best Buy wants me to say about this product. My Rexing M2 Max Pro has not even been installed yet and won't be until January 17. I researched various products before I bought this product. The Rexing dash cams seemed to have better feedback than the other brands. I have taken the dashcam out of the box and looked at it, read the instructions. It appears to be made solidly. Only downside is that it doesn't come with a memory card. That has to be purchased separately. If I begin to have problems after installation, I will come back and amend this rating.

I recently upgraded to this mirror dash camera from my V1p Rexing, and it's a huge improvement. Installation and setup were straightforward, and both the front and rear cameras deliver excellent picture quality. I'm very satisfied with this purchase and continue to trust Rexing products.

So i wanted to get a dash cam and none of my dash cams worked or even connected to my car they were to small and diffucult to install until i ran into the mirror dash cam i gave it a try and then it was fantastic and one of the beat cams and more advanced has alot of features and affordable so i recommend this for a budget and one of the best cameras.

Product was easy to install over my existing rear view mirror just using the plug-in connection to cigarette lighter style port and had ample cord to hide it easily. The night vision is clear and enhanced, and good clarity. Great solution that will let me take it and setup in a rental car when needed.

I’m being generous in giving this two stars. I’m guessing the dash cam works fine, but we never even got to that point. We needed to add a backup camera to an older vehicle and the one the BBY website said was compatible with the vehicle (Echomaster) wasn’t. The Tech at the store was great, and said they had another product that was actually in stock that was compatible with our truck. So, we returned the first one for this one, and he did the installation in about an hour and a half. I want to be clear, this issue wasn’t with the installation. This Rexing product is seriously flawed, starting with the annoyances of the weight of this mirror being too much for the existing rearview mirror of our vehicle, which caused distracting vibrations and shaking while the car was in motion. Then there was the extreme glare on the mirror’s glass. We had to actually point the mirror down toward the floor so we could drive without having streams of light flashing in our peripheral vision. Perhaps the worst part of this product, OK clearly THE worst part of this product, is that the backup camera feature is completely inaccurate when backing up. Which kind of defeats the purpose of having back up camera. There are guidelines, yes, but the lines disappear before you’re actually close enough to where you want to be. And there’s no audio indicator or anything like that once you actually go in reverse. When it looks like you are butting right up against something, you still have three or 4 feet left to go. My husband and I tried adjusting the camera itself and adjusting settings in the menu to mitigate this, but we simply couldn’t make it work. So truly, you have no idea how far away you are from something when you’re backing up. When I contacted Rexing directly about this, thinking there was a setting I was missing, they said it was known issue with a software and that nothing that could be adjusted to help you know the distance you are away from an object or person. I don’t know how a product goes out into the market, calls itself a back up camera, but doesn’t actually help you park safely. We gave it the college try for two weeks, and found it to be actually more dangerous than not having a back up camera at all. We returned the product and are getting a different system by a different manufacturer.

I love the mirror but the install service from Geek Squad is pretty poor. They had put the GPS antenna in front of my TPMS Antenna and it caused issues with my car system.

This is an excellent dash camera. I love the fact that it's out of the way on my existing rear view mirror. The feature on the camera are excellent. A couple of things keep it from being perfect. The first is the glare from lights behind you at night, and the second is that the rear camera was installed inside my rear hatch, so the picture's not as crisp as the front camera. The second one's probably due to the tint on that rear glass.

This is the third Rexing dash cam I have bought. I have even bought as a gift for family. I have chosen to upgrade to this version due to see if the mirror part will help make my aging car feel like a modern car with all their bells and whistles as well as adding the rear view camera for extra protection. The touch screen makes interfacing much easier than the buttons on other models, very smartphone/ tablet like. Only time will tell how well this product lasts, but I hope it will be on par as the previous ones.

basically an ok solution for cars without a backup camera, but viewing through the rear-view mirror is a bit disconcerting. Sometimes while driving, depending on how your eyes are focusing, you will see a clear precise vision of what is behind you. Other times, you see the typical rear view including back seat of your car, etc. My husband has vision in only one eye. If it's difficult for me, it is probably twice as difficult for him. would I purchase again??? probably not.

Lots of options and a really wide view, but had to order an optional glare filter.

This dash cam is a great option for cars without a backup camera like mine. It is really interesting that it replaces the review mirror by attaching to it. I have always been happy with my Rexing dash cams, no issues in my previous models. I like that it comes with the wiring. I am hesitant about only having this as my rearview mirror instead of my traditional one which dims headlights so we'll see about that. I am also unsure about making my review mirror a bit wider as my Outback mirror already seems to take up a lot of space.

Camera is a pain to mount but good. High quality video and easy to navigate the menus.
