    I wasn’t happy with this dash cam. Wasn’t recording specifically when I really needed.I always had to turn it on manually. Didn’t stay on on at nights

    Bought this camera thinking it's everything I wanted in a dash cam. Tried to review some video and all I got was pictures. Not video. Looked through the settings and couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting video.

    Never connected to phone correctly. Do not recommend. Even had it professionally installed at Best Buy.

    The front camera holder was always loose despite tighting it adn camera was always falling. I had to put some filling to get the camera in place. AFter two years the camera stop working. Sorry but I wont recommend.

    Awful dash cam

    Terrible!, Lasted about a week. Returned to my car to see a giant black hole has melted on the screen. This unit doesn’t appear to have any thermal management, vet easily overheats.

    Poorly developed app, camera system is ok but retrieving video is a hassle. Need to remove the sd card plug it to your computer download the video then save it to the app. Too much work to get a video playback.

If the hardwire kit is the Intelligent Hardwire kit, you would get access to the motion sensor that lets you detect motion while your vehicle is parked. rexingusa

    Get another brand! It works… but it’s kind of a struggle. There are MUCH simpler cameras out there that are more reasonable and SO much easier to use.

    Got this as a requested Xmas gift, and had the Geek Squad install it. They did a great job and I’m impressed with all the features of this camera. The tech said it’s one of their most popular models and I can see why. Wish I’d have had it a few months ago when some numpty scratched my football sticker and I *believe* the side of my car. I get hating the other team, but hands off other people’s stuff, didn’t your mommy teach you? Anyway, I agreed with the tech when he also said everyone should have a dash cam - there are a lot of scammers out there. This camera has everything you will need to protect yourself.

    I had a dashcam (older cheaper model) in my last vehicle. 2 weeks ago it was totaled in a “T-bone” accident. I had a green protected left arrow light and he had a red. He blew the light. I started a claim with his insurance. 4 hours later I was called by an agent for a recorded statement so they could start an investigation. I told her I had a dash cam and emailed the video to her. Her customer had told her he had a green light and that I had improperly turned. 2 minutes after she got the email the investigation was closed. His insurance claims agent said “This is 100% our fault.” I had a rental car (paid for by his insurance) the next day. That paid for the cost of the dash cam in my opinion. Like all things electronic though, my old dashcam was outdated. I decided to only buy the best dashcam to protect this new car. I did a lot of research and that led me to Rexing. 4 cameras!! My old one only had the front view. Now I am covered 360 degrees. Traffic sucks. Peace of mind is what I consider this purchase to be. Peace of mind cannot have a price put on it. Luckily though this is very reasonably priced for the protection it offers.
