Trying a little to hard

The end result is a lot of good stuff, that just doesnt work right. The wifi connection is in redible glitchy and very hard to successfully connect even after trouble shooting. The resolutions and frame rate are impressive. Colors are super crisp but somehow the images still lack the detail to clearly read license plates and see orher fine details almost always. It does have a small size. The lens angle is very wide. You get alotnof features and at the price you get what you pay for. Okay for an entry level machine l, but there are way betrer cams out there. Tried the garmin mini 2 after. Same cost, better support app, easier to use, better pics and video even though it has a lower frame rate and resolution.

Hard to tell what is being captured on the display

Posted .The Display on the V1GW is purposely made to avoid destruction when driving.

Posted .Hi! Thank you for your review and I am sorry it is flickering. If hardwired, try powering it with the cigarette lighter and see if the flickering stops.

Posted .HI! Thanks for your review! Before connecting to WIFI, try turning off your celular network, or put your phone on airplane mode first. Then connect to it.

Posted .Hi! If you are having issues connecting to WIFI, turn of your celular network first and THEN connect to the dashcam and app. That will resolve your issues with connecting.
