Excellent Dash cam

Can view either or both on the screen with a simple click of a button. Has an app for smart phones. Supports a 256GB micro SD card. Mine required me to update the firmware. Reading the chip on a computer shows an excellent picture/video quality. Ours is hard wired into the car but can be removed and stored to hopefully eliminate theft.

Great camera, bad buttons

I don't understand why they can't get it right. The camera is amazing and the wifi streaming to my phone is a great feature that I've used.

Clarity is good and they are easy to use.

Only complaint is the terrible installation service at the local bestbuy auto center that resulted in damage to my car which was conveniently denied by the installer.

Be aware that if you want to have the camera on when the car is off and you are away from the car, you need to install it in a particular setting. At first I was afraid it would drain my battery. So far it hasn't. Great camera.

Not worth the money

Huge downside is the app. Not many features and you literally have to turn off your cellular data in order for it to open up live view. And you have to turn on WiFi on the camera every time you wanna open the app. They need to make it so that it will stay connected while your in the car and the camera is on. And keep cellular data on too. Also a pain to download a video. Takes forever and constantly errors.

Posted .HI, Thank you for the review. The WIFI is only meant to be connected to when you want to see, save, or delete footage from your SD card. We have since updated the app to allow for a much smoother and faster connection!

Big mistake. Instead, I'm up all night trying to figure out why the wifi option and backup battery does not work. I have been researching this product as if I was studying for a Master's Degree. I have an iPhone and the dashcam app is useless. It’s lack today’s technology. I'm very disappointed in this trustworthy product. I had high hopes. My money went straight down the drain. I feel cheated. Waste of time
