    Bought 2, 1 for each car. Camera A has never turned on/ off properly no matter what power method is used. I'll be driving & it randomly resets itself 5 times in a row. Camera B seemed to have been working fine, until I just tried to pull footage & found out it stopped recording EVERYTHING a MONTH ago. No warning that it wasn't recording. The "video locked" sound is the same exact sound as the "Start recording first" warning so the only way to tell would have been to stare at this tiny screen while driving and trying to save a video at the same time. Another product with failed quality control.

    MPEG2 - iPhone can’t read sd card formatting

    MPEG2 formatting on the micro sd card means my iPhone can’t read it. Rexing said I can’t change that either. I’m confused why this is the only review that mentions it, what is everyone else using? I don’t really like sitting in my car for getting the videos via WiFi off the camera.

      Please note that our cameras save the videos in the most compatible formats when applicable. Apple and Android in direct control of what is allowed within their operating systems. Therefore, we cannot say for certain. Please also note that we have been advised that the adapter being used is important on determining if the file will be accessible by an iPhone. rexingusa

    This is the third rexing camera that i brought. My first one (VP1) is only 3 years old and it keeps restarting. I replaced it with this newer rexing and it turned out to be a dud. Exchanging it for a cobra.

    I bought this specific dash came because it came with the hardwire kit. KIT would imply it would have all the adapters necessary for the various fuse types. Nope. It does not fit my car. Now I have to spend more money, or rip out all the work I’ve already done to buy from a company that doesn’t false advertise.

    Stopped working

    Worked for few months. Didn’t fit my trucks fuse size so had to use the car charger cable. The app for this camera sucks. Very slow and the wifi connectivity hardly ever works. Now It records and says it is on, but none of the buttons work, and there is nothing saved to the SD card. Witnessed a pretty bad accident and thought that my dash fam footage would be useful. Couldn’t access it, so I figured I’d warn people not to buy.

    Worked fine with no known issues, until I needed to retrieve footage of a specific event. The video files with the appropriate timestamps of said event were there, but the videos were empty. Valid captures were available both before and after the event in question, so the issue was not with the SD card. Can't have it if it's going to sporadically fail to operate. Regrettably I'll be pulling this out of my vehicle and returning it at my next opportunity.

    Without a doubt, the worst product I have ever purchased. Cannot connect to the dashcam wirelessly via my phone (WiFi drops immediately). Tried pulling the SD card out and reading it on my laptop, except that the SD card is unreadable. An absolute waste of money. I will be requesting a refund.

      That is really odd and I am sorry that is happening. Please make sure you are away from your home WIFI or any other saved WIFI networks that will cause interference.

      Try playing the footage back on the unit itself. If it plays back fine, the SD card may be defective or your PC is having issues reading the SD card. rexingusa

    I purchased a different one when I got to the place of Installed. The guy suggested this one cause he was quicker Instalación, but I don’t really like it. It has nothing to offer like the other one he was the one that has to be mounted on the rearview mirror the one that I like I would like to go back and return this one and get the other one install

    Paid for pro install. Thought it was working but i got hit today... Thought I'd have the footage when i got home. It only shows the last 45mins and delete everything that mattered. It has never been able to record parking. That function has never worked... Even after i talked to support. Don't buy this. My opinion

    I bought but took it back because they couldn't install it. I bought one from Chevrolet that would work in my 2026 zr2 colorado

    Terrible! I can’t believe I paid full price for something that is not evening working. I even got someone to install it. What a waste of time and money! My 10 year old dash camera is better than this.

    Smart Hardware Kit Not Working

    Can't get this camera to work with the smart hardware kit at all. I followed the instructions exactly. I've even bought a new smart hardware kit and a volt detector. I've tried multiple fuse boxes and practically every fuse possible. The camera works fine with the 12volt plug but that's it. I wanted to just exchange for another but BestBuy won't let me do that after only 2 weeks.

    The Rexing V1P Flex X4 4K Wi-Fi Dual Dash Cam offers a good mix of features and usability. The best feature of this dash cam is its ease of use. The setup process is straightforward and everything you need to use the dashcam is included in the box. A 32GB SD card and hardwire kit make installation hassle-free. The 2” screen is somewhat useful for navigating menus. However, when it comes to viewing footage, the display is too small to be very useful. Most phone screens are larger. To see much detail like a license plate, a bigger screen is needed. I would prefer to use the app on my phone to configure the Dashcam and view videos in favor of making the Dashcam smaller, less obtrusive, and less noticeable from outside my car to potential thieves. The video quality is mostly average with other cameras I’ve looked at around this price range, but sometimes a bit better, such as at dusk. The front camera records in 4K and the rear in 1080p. The overall clarity is decent but the 4K seems short of being outstanding for the added resolution. The camera performs relatively well in various lighting conditions, but it struggled with capturing license plates moving away at night clearly. To be fair, this is challenging for any camera. Unfortunately, getting clear video where you can make out license plates in most conditions is a problem with most dash cams. This seems to hold true on Dashcams costing more than twice what the Rexing costs. The more you spend, the more features you get, but the video does not improve much if any. Still, it’s a good idea to have a dashcam. You may get the plate of a hit and run driver, you may not. But more than likely someone you are in an accident with will stop. The camera will show what happened in front and behind your car prior to and during an accident. Push the center button and the video will be saved and not overwritten. Having a dashcam can help you refute the other persons story and keep responsibility for any accident with the other person, possibly saving you thousands in fines and insurance costs. Unless of course you caused the accident…. The Rexing V1P Flex X4 4K Wi-Fi Dual Dash Cam is easy to use and well-made with good video quality. It interfaces with your phone via an app so you can download videos and view on what is probably a larger screen the dashcam comes with. The rear camera is a must have in my opinion for tailgaters, road raggers, or Ride Share passenger interaction. Compared to others I believe you get a great value with this complete and easy to install bundle. Hopefully you never need it, but it can be valuable if you do.
