Install was a bit of a pain. This unit comes with an SD card and adapter kit so that you don’t need to have it plugged into your lighter port if you typically use that for some other charger. To keep the wires from hanging in front of your dash and in the way of everything, they give you a kit that ties into your car’s electrical system. It works great and allows you to utilize the setting that if its jostled too much it will start recording. I really love that and how it makes the whole look of the dash cam more professional and discrete. The problem is that I put it in an older car and actually figuring it out was more than I could handle. I got a mechanic buddy of mine to come help and it took around an hour to do everything. If you have to have someone else do it, it would probably run you $100-200 to install it depending on what type of installer you higher and how “professional” they are. The videos all are clear and easy to see a wide range around the car. SD car seems fine size wise, but time will tell if I get a lot of videos locked because it thinks there could have been an accident, I’m not sure how fast it will fill up. Testing the parking function, I could bounce on the back bumper of the car and make it move enough to trigger the recording even though the sensor would be at the front of the car. I am a bit concerned about having it constantly running and draining the battery if I don’t drive the car every day, but it appears to not give me any issue over 3 days of not using the car, so its probably ok for general use. I’ll probably unplug it if I leave the car for a few weeks while on vacation or something. The only thing I don’t like about it is the angle of the display screen feels just a bit too slanted and not as convenient as it could be. It’s a minor issue since this is not one that is intended to double as a back-up camera so I shouldn’t need to look at it except to review afterward if there is an issue. Overall a well built dash cam.

If I ever have a chance to try a new Rexing product, I jump at it without thinking. This is my third Rexing dashcam since 2019 and once again I am not disappointed in what Rexing provides. So now, I'm using the Rexing V1P Flex X4, which is their latest product. Here is what's included inside: Rexing V1P Flex 4X 4K Dash Cam - this camera is very sharp has 2160 4k recording at 170 degrees Rear Camera - 1080p is very clear; also looks as clear as the 2160 4k in the front Mount Plate & 3M Adhesive - always good that Rexing provide these. Most often, I will purchase a suction cup for the front camera, so I can detach the front camera when necessary. Type C Smart Hardwire Kit - for people who feel comfortable enough installing the cameras and the wiring underneath the dash and lining of your car, this is perfect for you. If you don't feel comfortable, then it's pretty simple to head to Best Buy and they will take care of it for you. 32GB Memory Card - the perfect size card needed for about 4-5 days recording of driving for a commute. If you do more driving thatn that, if doesn't hurt to buy a bigger card. Car Charger - Perfect if you don't want to install under the dash and under the car lining. and User Manual Once I had the camera installed, I took it for a quick test drive in my neighborhood and came back. Very sharp pictures and the microphone also picked up sound very clearly. You can either use the app to view the recordings, or you can take the memory card out and view/upload onto your laptop. Bottom line: You can't go wrong with Rexing....highly recommend

I do a lot of traveling for work and decided after a few close calls i needed to invest in a dash cam. After seeing the specs and checking out some reviews i believe this is the best bang for your buck. It's easy to install, setup and operate. The video quality is excellent and overall I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Seems great! Love that it includes the hardwire kit (most don't) and the wire length is more than nominal. So far quality is more than adequate. Will revise if any issues present themselves.

Big fan of Rexing dash cams. I recommend them to everyone. This one is the same quality as the others with upgraded camera quality, WiFi capability and the dual camera! It's awesome to be able to see footage from both in front and behind. I will never drive another car without a dash cam and have no reason to not keep buying Rexing. My first one is going on at least 5 years with no issues.

Had a great experience purchasing and installing our new Rexing V1P Flex4 Front and Rear Dash cam. It was very straightforward, took about an hour, and they showed me how to set up the app before I drove off.

Got this dash cam for my birthday and its very bigginer friendly. Very easy to use, price is great, and picture quality for both front and rear is great. Also comes with a 32GB memory card that you can always upgrade.

I have had several Rexing DVRs over the years and I can honestly say this is a great product. This particular package is all inclusive. It has a memory card and a wiring kit. Usually the DVR just comes with the camera and it is up to the individual to find a wiring kit and memory card. These guys took out the guess work. For those on the fence about installation, I recommend doing a quick search on youtube. There are a ton of videos on how to install the power and recommendations where to mount the cameras. It is not a very technicall process that requires special tools. Once you install one, it will take you 30 minutes to install all others. DVRs are a great insurance investment to make. I was rear ended last year and had the video to show I was not at fault. Saved me tons of "he said, she said" back and forth.

Another awesome job from Rexing. I believe you really need these things in today's world. Sadly too many times people like to make up stories or see things a different way. Having a dash cam can help settle things . But the V1p flex x4 is a dual dash cam system. The front camera is 2160p and the rear one is 1080p. Both have great angle views you can even see it from your phone with the app. Pretty easy to install I didn't need to use a professional for it . Just ran the wires along the edge of the ceiling and tucked them in . You get night vision, auto crash detection , you have the wifi support to transfer your files to the phone with the app of course, and finally you loop recording. Basically keeps recording and writes over old recordings. now transferring files with wifi is slow it's better to take the SD card and put in your computer and do it that way. I checked the recordings everything was good I am comfortable with the quality. Very few recordings were a little pixelated, but it's within the acceptable range.

The Rexing - V1P Flex X4 4K WiFi Dual Dash Cam is a decent budget dash camera with its feature set. Nowadays, dash cameras are great for liability reasons. You want to be able to show in an accident exactly what happened. Where I deducted a star, I feel that the optional GPS module really should not have been optional. You can get other dash camera models, from other manufacturers, with the module included for similar pricing. The module itself is useful since it shows not only your location, but your speed. The camera itself really is plug in play. Put the memory card in and wire it up. The included accessory port charger allowed for easy installation while the hard wire kit allows for a more seamless install. The wire for the rear camera allowed me to easily route the camera along my trim to my rear windshield. Video quality looks like a truly decent 4k. The picture is crisp and clear. For these types of recording, the more detail captured the better. The night vision isn't all that big a deal to me, you will have your headlights on after all! This camera is a great starter for peace of mind and insurance purposes. I do highly suggest a GPS module though!

This is my second Rexing dashcam. My V1 is still performing flawlessly after 4 years of daily use. I like the rear facing camera and the ease of use on this one. I don't think you'll find a better value or easier to use, dependable dashcam.

Just installed the camera and so far so good. Easy to setup, connect to app and review videos. Very clear picture for both front and back. Unfortunately I am not savvy enough to hardwire the connection so I will have Best Buy to that part.

It is fairly simple to use and install. The parking function is also fairly nifty. The device is not overly obtrusive in the sightline. Requires app or taking out the SD card to see recordings.

this dash cam is so good!! i luv how easy it is to access your videos through bluetooth or wifi. a HUGE upgrade from my last dash and it’s not bad for the price. highly recommend.

As an owner of a previous model, I was very happy with Rexing's products. Years ago, my dashcam caught some video that I was able to sell to an online media company. Now, I'm a truck driver and am on the road everyday. I recently had a fender bender happen right in front of me and I wasn't recording. I had to get the latest for my work vehicle. This cam was easy to set up, and easy to use. And so much is included in the box. The unit comes with a 32GB sd card and adapter for downloading to your computer. In addition to the standard car charger, they've included a hard wire kit. This is necessary to activate parking mode protection. I've never seen this included with the main unit. Great job Rexing and Best Buy. I hope this collaboration works out well!

This little guy is amazing. I mean easy to set up, awesome to su, and you can see the road if your driving with the camera. A definite must.

Easy to install and the wires are easily hidden to give you a clean look. Overall, very happy with the video quality and product.

I recently purchased the rexing - V1P Flex X4 4K WiFi Dual Dash Cam - Black after reading good reviews on Best Buy. The installation is very easy to do. Looking forward to it to do the job needed.
