Everything works as it should. What everyone should know is that the “Smart Hardwire Kit” says it plugs into your fuse box and it does, as long as you have the same size fuse size that the kit uses. In my case, I had a different size fuse’s different than what the kit came with so I had to trim the part that plugs intocthe fuse box. No biggie, but someone less knowledgeable might want to have a professional install the hardwire kit…

The problem I had with the first and second was consistently having to format the SD card to get it to record, also the last two units intermittently shuts off and on without recording. I end up returning the qty#2 units that had the same exact problem. I figure third time's a charm if this goes out again I will pull everything Rexing related and spend the extra money for a name brand more reputable unit.

we're sorry you're having issues with the V33.
If the camera keeps shutting off and on, you may need to disable "screen saver", or "auto power off" in the settings. If that still doesn't work, you might just need to update the firmware. You can get the update by using this link and following the video instructions: https://www.rexingusa.com/support/firmware-tool/

No distractions while driving and I can easily reach it. An amazing feature is that just with a click, the screen turns off while still recording. So no form of glare or distractions. It has an inbuilt WiFi that easily connects to the Rexing connect app which is easy to operate. I highly recommend this camera.
