I took it to Best Buy to see if it could be repaired, but apparently, they couldn’t fix it and recommended buying a new one. Attempting a repair would have been far more expensive than the original cost. In short, I wouldn’t recommend this product. There doesn’t seem to be a reasonable way to get it repaired, and this on-and-off loop appears to be a common issue.

The cameras have held up to the San Antonio Texas heat. My son bought an insignia brand and the heat caused the insignia screen to go bad. I bought 1 more for my wife and am about to buy another one for for my son. They get the job done!

The pc app for apple defaults to an Asian country and will not switch over to google maps. There is 0 on customer support call, leave messages, and emailed with no response. The camera itself is way to use it take beautiful pictures and videos and stores to sd card.

I’m an Uber driver and the camera provides the peace of mind that the rides will behave because they know they are going to be recorded. I also registered the video camera with Uber, so when the rider books, a message comes up to inform them that video and audio will be recorded during their ride.

This being my 3rd Dashcam (all 3 different brands) they’ve all been slow to download off camera using your phone, best placing memory card into a computer to upload and save important videos. Overall… id recommend this Dashcam

I like this one much more if not for anything other than it has a screen. It does have a cloud that you can upload to.
