    4K Dash Cam!

If you don't mind having a bit oversize (in my 0 personal opinion) dash cam, than this item is right for you! It has everything you need, front camera, interior camera and covers the blind spots areas, and rear cam. I wouldn't strongly recommend you getting a bigger micro sd card as well as I recommend you get the hardwire as it's a lot more clean of a look. It's a do it yourself product. No need for professional installation.

I'll start by saying that this thing is pure garbage and Rexing support is the worst I've ever experienced. The rear camera has never worked and when it's connected, the camera cycles or freezes. I've done everything the company has asked me to do including several firmware updates and now it doesn't work at all. It just stays on the boot screen. This company has no phone support due to covid which is ridiculous at this point. When you reach out to support, you just go in circles and they insult your intelligence. They clearly do not want to honor their warrantie and since Best Buy only offers a 14-day return period, I might as well have flushed my money in the toilet. If this review helps just one person stay clear from this horrible product and company, it's worth writing.

Great quality, but it can be confusing to install and you might need someone to wire it directly to your car battery so it records 24/7

This is my third Rexing Dash Cam but the first that has THREE cameras. The cameras all seem to have great resolution (given their size) and the set up is fairly straightforward - the front-facing and cabin camera plug in to the rear camera all powered by one DC power source. A lot of wires to run and stuff in various places. Pros: - 3 cameras: great potential for Uber, Lyft, and similar ride-sharing providers - Beautiful touch screen - Camera synchronization is seamless once everything is plugged in and set up - Easily configurable options through the on-device software (see below re: app connection) - Includes a (very small) high-speed memory card which I would suggest replacing with a much larger card (256gb) - All-in-one system design makes it really usable in a variety of settings. Audio can be turned on and off, - Widest angle lens of any dash cam I have ever used (front-facing) - Small, unobtrusive design for both windshield and back window device - AWESOME voice-controls with a very small learning curve. Makes using and capturing moments very easy - and safe/handsfree Cons: - There are a LOT of wires to stuff up inside your headliner, door trim, etc. If I were to make a recommendation, I'd have Best Buy install it. It took me about 2 hours from start to finish - The software on the device itself is very straightforward and pretty easy to use - The connection between the app and the camera system is nearly unusable; I was able to make one connection during the week. You are able to remove the memory card and upload directly to a computer or even remove the whole cam and plug it in to a computer but this is not an ideal setup. - The device gets very, very hot. Not necessarily a con, just good to know. - Can totally kill your car battery if you plug in to a lighter outlet that is constantly powered. This may be limited to GM vehicles (I installed this in a 2020 GMC Terrain and the front DC plug is always live) Overall, this is not only a great set of cameras, but a really good value. Of all the dash cams I've had over the past decade or so, this is probably the most feature-rich and best quality. I would definitely recommend this - but have Best Buy install it! (At the time of writing this review, I was unable to get any images to upload; will try to update if that's possible when I'm not mobile)

Camera that covers all the angles

To start with installation for this camera is fairly straight forward, it does take a little work to run cables so that they are hidden and out of the way but once you get everything in place it's not to bad. One of the only things about this kit that I dock it a few points for is the fact that instead of including a hardwire power kit (which they have but sell separately) they only include a standard 12V plug adapter for power. It would have been nice to see the extra touch of including both options. But other than that everything else is great about this camera. So far I've not had any issues running the camera even with the days being very very hot here locally. The camera starts with the car without any other issues which is nice. I also like the fact that it includes three different views, so many cameras now have forgone the actual rear camera for just an inside cabin rear facing one instead. It's also nice that if you don't really want the internal rear camera you can just unplug it from the base module and change a setting in the menus and your good to go, super simple and easy. Overall the video quality is better than I expected with the forward facing camera being 4k and the two rear cameras 1080P everything is nice and clear all around. Accessing videos is also super simple with the mobile app. While the app could use a little bit of tweaking overall it is good and I had no issues pulling videos from the camera with it. One thing to remember about the app is it uses Wi-Fi to connect so you have to make sure you turn on Wi-Fi on the camera before attempting to connect otherwise the app will throw an error. As for turning on the Wi-Fi that's super easy with the voice commands the camera has. Normally voice commands seem gimmicky but in this case they are well though out and super easy to use. No special keywords or strange phrasing. All the stuff you would want to do on the fly can be done with simple voice commands and I think it's one of the better implementations of voice control I have seen in a long time. Things like turning the screen on and off, changing which camera is shown on the screen, turning the Wi-Fi on or off, and locking videos so they don't get overwritten is super easy. Overall this is a solid choice if your looking for an allrounder to place in your car.
