This will be great and it will definitely come in handy if I’m ever in accident. Plus I got it on super sale, so it was worth the money.

Opened this right away and been playing with in for 3 hours, superb display and be able to replay video via my phone is a plus.

2nd one. First was an open box item and after a day, it would get hung-up trying boot up. Exhanged for new. New one will not track GPS or speed with any accuracy. Customer service is only available thru email and is useless. I've tried all of their recommendations, and based on responses, I believe there is also a language barrier. Regret spending over $300 to have professionally installed.

I purchased this camera twice and both times it had the same issue where it would just stop recording randomly, and this was within a week of purchase. Also the first one just stopped working completely. I tried to give it a second try but it also disappointed me. The manufacturer needs to look into this issue, for now I cannot recommend this product at all.

great install, excellent techs. they talked me thru the install and i came back in a few hours and the car was done.

It's a decent cam but could have been better. Mine doesn't record sometimes after 1 minute.

Froze in the first 30 days of owning it! The other 1 or 2 star ratings are spot on with the problems I'm having.

I just bought a new car and was worried about my investment so I thought a dashcam might help. The Rexing V5 is a lot of camera, not only do you get a 4k front facing camera with pivoting lens, but a cabin facing 1080p and rear window 1080p to cover more of the car. The rear camera is not wifi like I thought, you have to run a wire so not the easiest setup. I realized this unit is like a built-in that you won't easily switch between cars not just by the wires, but also by the use of an adhesive to mount to the windshield as opposed to a suction cup. I was a little irked by the fact that the mounting arm is fixed and can't be adjusted, leading to the viewscreen being tilted up slightly though not noticeably. After installing, I got to the menu buttons and discovered how literally in the dark I was to which was which since the indicators are, not only unlit, but skewed to the left of the actual button layout. I assume after a while, it should become intuitive. I found the handsfree voice control works surprisingly well without prompting with a catch phrase. Though I did hear the occasional confirmation beep while I was holding a conversation in the car, to which I had no clue which command I may have uttered. The voice control feature can be turned off, fortunately. The one surprising feature I wasn't expecting was the parking surveillance feature. Say you park in a sus location and worry someone can ding your car, you can set the camera's sensitivity gyro to turn on the moment it senses vibration like if the vehicle next to you bumps you in some way. It can either record a 20 second clip or it can be set to time-lapse so you catch who did it and possibly their plate number. Some electric vehicles already have this safety feature built-in. I think it would be great to present as evidence for insurance purposes. The worst thing I can possibly say about this unit is not about the unit at all, but the associated app that supposedly connects via wifi and allows you to record and save files. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to connect to the camera after multiple attempts. It would connect to it's wifi hotspot, but the app wouldn't recognize the connection. You can easily circumvent this by removing the memory card and downloading any files you want. So, for the best camera setup that covers most of the bases and then some; if you love your car, this is the one to get.

Just purchased not even 30 days ago and it does not even work. When you power on the unit it gets stuck on the Rexing “loading” screen. I’m an over the road truck driver and there is no way I’ll make it back to Knoxville in time for a refund. Total waste of money. Smh

this is total garbage. very cheap Chinese made trash. one camera didnt work right out of the box. the quality on the others was certainly not 4k. you can tell easily that tis is made from the cheapest materials. do not buy it

Got this unit on sale and it worth having it all three cameras.

This was an ok dash cam. Just for me it didn’t do what I believed it was going to do.
