Worked fine until it didn't

I'm guessing it was the heat here in Cali but I just noticed it when I got in the car yesterday, the glass was separated from the body of the dash cam. I found out that the faceplace that holds it to the dash cam was missing. Can't find it so it must have fallen out while we were cleaning.
