Bought this in store for $5, and it sounds great. I noticed that it shows produced by "blackened" instead of "electra" records, but I've played it on both car stereo and the home stereo and it sounds great.

Ride the Lightning is an all time classic album, one of Metallica's best in my opinion. This remastered version ups the quality of the sound. The bass is more present and makes the album that much better.

I have always loved this album. Metallica did a recent remaster job on this album and it sounds much better. You can hear the bass guitar more and the drums just pop out more! Metallica kept the artwork intact.

The remastering has cleared up some of the poor sound quality of the original release, while being mindful and not changing the overall sound of the album.

Metallica's second album is an incredible step forward, both in the music and lyrics. Surprising the the band would take such a risk with this new direction. Must have!

Found this classic in a "bargain bin." Didn't think that was possible after Best Buy chose to stop selling CDs. This is a must have if you like Metallica!!

Great album to start listening to Metallica. This one is where James has found more of his singing voice. The tracks range from powerful ballads to full thrash metal.

I've waited for years for Metallica to "upgrade" their early recordings, & "Ride The Lightning" is my personal favorite. At $5.99, I couldn't resist buying it: LOVE it!
