      Hello Raja, on your PS4 system, select Settings>Sound and Screen>Audio Output Settings> and ensure the Output to Headphones option is selected, otherwise your PS4 will only output audio to the default output device (HDMI, Optical Audio, etc.). In case you're still unable to hear through your RIG headset please try connecting it to a media player or cellphone to determine if the issue is on your headset on on the audio source.     Honestly one of the worst headsets I’ve owned the mic barely works and has a terrible echo basically to the point of not being useable and the audio cut out randomly or would only come out of one ear I could have gotten a faulty pair but atm this is one of the worst headsets I’ve ever owned. I’ve had no issue with any other head sets until months of almost daily use but even from day one fresh out of the box these had sound that would only come out of one ear at a time. I’ve used a mic from dollar general that was better then this. It was very disappointing but I repeat I could have gotten a faulty product

    When I brought them home, they mic would not hook in properly/ wouldn't connect to playstation. Ended up taking them back.

    I rate my product poor because the headset is loose from one side of it and it keeps falling off, wont stay on my head, I used it the first couple days buy refuse to use it anymore since I cant play comfortably with it.

      In order to troubleshoot this issue please be sure to try rotating the headband the the opposite side (front facing back) and re-attach the speakers this way to see if this makes a difference.     I was not very happy with the headset. Gave it to our Grandson for Christmas and he was very excited. When it was all hooked up, the microphone did not work. He could hear his friends but his friends could not hear him.

      If the unit's microphone does not seem to work we recommend that you try re-connecting the headset to the controller and then try restarting the console. If the issue is the same you can try the headset on a mobile device like a cellphone or tablet to determine if the issue is on the headset itself or the device it's connected to. Sometimes, when plugging into a PC, the computer sound settings may not recognize the microphone on the headset automatically. To change that, simply go to your PC system settings, then sound settings, and make sure the RIG 400HS headset is selected for both output (speakers) and input (microphone).     This is one the best, if not the best, gaming headset for under $50. It's very comfortable, lightweight and has very good sound quality. The lows are just slightly heavy, but not overbearing, the mids clean and the highs are clear without being piercing. The overall sound quality is very good, but not as good as a $100+ headset. The response curve is fairly flat with a slight boost to the lows and highs. The mic quality is absolutely crystal clear and is by far the best mic I have ever used. I'm used to using a Turtle Beach XO One on my PS4 and the Rig 400 is definitely an upgrade.
