Delivered on 8/10, as of 8/27 (of course two days too late to return it) this headset had an earpiece fall off (while it was being worn) and a red light flash. We got the earpiece reattached but it will not charge or work. This was a waste of $70. I took a chance on this unknown brand based on reviews. The product was treated well and used on only one gaming tower.

      Hello ErnestC,
We apologize you've had a less than ideal experience with the RIG 600 PRO HX wireless headset. Please note that the ear cushions are meant to be removable on the 600 PRO series so that they can be user-replaced. It's not typical for them to fall off while using so I'm thinking they had partially been pulled out of the track that runs around the speaker housing prior to use. But the issue of not charging can be covered by warranty if you are past the Best Buy return window. The red flash you are referring to could either be low battery indicator or it could be "searching USB" as it looks for the wireless transmitter. There are audible cues that go along with the LED indicators. For customer support or to file a warranty claim, please contact us direct at support.us@nacongaming.com. Thank you. nacon-fr

Gaming headphones working overtime in the office

The first thing I noticed was how lightweight the 600 Pros were. Once I "sized" them to my head the fabric cups were comfortable. While it is comfortable, I feel like I may be in between sizes as the largest size is just a touch to big and the middle setting is too tight. Some adjustability to the head cushion might have alleviated that. On the subject of the cushions, the fabric is comfortable, but I sweat a bit and have an oily complextion. Can't wash the fabric this sill likely affect the longevity of the headphones, but most of the lower end headphones with vinyl cups have flaked and desingrated over a few years anyway. Connecting them via Bluetooth or the USB transmitter was quick and effortless. I prefer the volume knob over clicky volume buttons, but the wheel feels a bit cheap but not a huge gripe. Would've liked to have seen a click for the wheel to act as a mute switch and hear ambient sound via the mic. Speaking of Mic, I like that it is able to be tucked away and disappeared. Sound profile immediately out of the box is shockingly underwhelming. It really isn't until the app is downloaded and the EQ is adjusted. The bass doesn't hit super hard, but they are more than adaqate for gaming while trying not to wake the whole family. Once the EQ is adjusted via the app those settings will remain when moving from phone to computer to console. I've am happy with these headphones and pair well with using them for console gaming and computer usage (zoom meetings) and listening to music to drown out ambient noise while working. Pros Comfortable Light Weight Volume Wheel instead of up/down button Sounds good AFTER the app is downloaded and the EQ is adjusted Dual connections for versatility Hide away mic Decent mic clarity for in game chat, cell phone and video conference calls Cons Adjustability leaves something to be desired (in between sizes) Fabric ear cups and headband will get rather gross over time Controls are not super identifiable at first not terrible after you get used to it

So these say they they were designed for xBox, but I've been using them with my PS5. I have to say this right up front...these are by far the most comfortable headphones that I have ever owned. Overall, they are very light weight. The earpads are big enough that they do not clip your ears. The ear pads also have enough cushion that they do not crush or pinch your ears. The ear pads are not on a slider like most of my headphones...for me this doesn't effect anything...they fit me perfectly. You simple take the earpads off and place them where you'd like. The microphone works well and it fold into the headphones for easy storage. I do not seem to have any feedback or issues with sounds around me...so it picks up my voice but doesn't seem to notice the fan or ac running near me which is good. The batter life for the headphones seems to be going strong as well. I've had the headphones for about a week. I full charged them the day I got them but last night was the first time I got the low battery indicator. I've probably played 15-20 hours on them...I even left them on by accident one night. The set up was a breeze as well. I just plugged it in and hit the pairing button. I was up and playing in less then 5 minutes. The only negative I would say, is the directions are very vague. The buttons are easy to find but i had to figure out what the modes were by pressing them. Other than that...these are now my go to headphones due to how comfortable they are and the excellent sound quality.

Louder and in surround sound for people in the back- Multi-platform gamers rejoice! The RIG 600Pro HX is just what the all around gamer needs in a headset. Sound quality is excellent and it's Dolby Atmos compatible. While it may not be for true audiophiles, I think even they would consider these adequate. The downside is the mic pickup and sound isn't the best. Giving a sort of "Far away" sound as one of my friends put it. If you're not into game chat, then this will be less of a concern. Pairing by Bluetooth is fast and easy. If your gaming system doesn't have built in Bluetooth, there is a dongle that plugs into a USB port on your TV, Computer or gaming system. Audio Lag is imperceptibly minimal or non existent. Being able to go form Xbox, to PC, to tablet, to phone with minimal fuss will make gamers happy. This headset is insanely comfortable thanks to copious ear padding and size adjustment. 6-8 hour gaming sessions are no problem due to the long battery life. 18 hours is stated, though in my non scientific testing think that 14-15 hours is more reasonable. Charges up pretty fast as well. The one big glaring downside in my opinion is that this is an UGLY headset. But if you want an excellent all around gaming and media wireless headset for not a lot of money, you can't go wrong with the RIG 600 Pro HX.

      Hello EvanC,
We apologize the RIG 600 PRO HX didn't work out for you. There should have been a Quick-Start Guide in the box with the headset. That Quick-Start guide shows that you need to switch the wireless transmitter to "PC" position for every platform except for Xbox. For use on Xbox, the wireless transmitter switch should be set to the console controller symbol. We understand how that may be confusing without the QSG reference. In addition to Nacon Customer Support at 1-833-622-6687 or support.us@nacongaming.com, we also have headset setup videos on the RIG channel on YouTube. Most customers can avoid unnecessary returns by contacting us directly or reference our setup tools on YouTube. Thank you... Nacon Gaming nacon-fr

As the title says I had some issues getting the headphones to connect wirelessly with my Windows 11 PC. It was rather annoying that it took me about 10-15 minutes to get my Windows PC & this headset talking with one another. I have another RIG headset which is my absolute favorite headphones I’ve ever owned and I’ve had some $400+ headphones previously, so when I got the 600 Pro headphones I thought I’d love them just as much. The sound quality is great. I absolutely love RIG’s sound quality and how the headphones feel when I wear them. I do not experience any ear fatigue nor do I get a headache when wearing them. This is a huge thing for me because I have experienced both with other headsets and literally thrown some in the trash because of it. So I appreciate & love just how comfortable they are to wear along with the amazing sound quality. The headphones feel lightweight but do not feel cheap. This is a delicate balance and RIG has nailed it in my opinion. Microphone quality is good. I’ve used these for work calls and I nor my colleagues or my direct reports have any complaints. Was the problems with connecting to my PC a me issue or a widespread issue? I don’t know exactly but what I do know is that I had recently reinstalled Windows 11 as a fresh install and so I know it was not driver or some other issue, or at least it shouldn’t have been. So I can only assume it is not a me or a system issue but is rather a headset issue, but we’ll have to see what others say.

      Hi Dillon,
We apologize the RIG 600 PRO HX didn't work out for you. The RIG 600 PRO Navigator app allows you to customize your EQ for the most ideal audio. You can contact Nacon Customer Support at 1-833-622-6687 or via email at support.us@nacongaming.com and we can help with the audio settings. Regarding comfort, that is very subjective so while we design them to be comfortable for everyone, its just not possible since everyone has their own taste regarding fit and comfort. Thank you for giving RIG gaming audio from Nacon a try. nacon-fr

Good gaming headset, very light, good dual mode!

Good gaming headset, very light, good dual mode, not for larger heads. Quick guide is deficient, should have the information that green light is for while charging, and light turns off when done. Also quick guide makes no mention of using with the Nintendo Switch, but the product box does. To use with the Switch, have the selection on the USB C dongle set to "PC". The font on the labels for the devices in the Quick Guide is super tiny, and gray, really hard to read. So here is the list: Game Control Icon on the USB C dongle switch is for connection to Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One. The PC Icon on the USB C dongle switch is for connection to PC, Playstation 5, Nintendo Switch. It is unclear which setting Playstation 4 is used under, and I don't have one to test. The Dolby Atmos feature works well for Xbox Series X and Windows 11, which I tested it with. Install the Dolby Access app and connecting the USB C dongle/headset activates it, way easier than the older version of Dolby Atmos, which had to have a key entered off a card that came with the headsets. The sound is good for a gaming headset. The headset is very very light. The boom mic has noise cancellation, seems to work fine. It is of the flip up to mute, which I like, no button to find or remember. The sizing is done by pushing the ear cup into one of three slots on the band, been this way on RIG headsets for many years. But unless you have a very small head, you will be using the lowest slot, aka the biggest sizing on the headset. If you have a larger head size, this headset maybe too small for you. The benefit? Even fairly young kids can have this sized to be fairly snug on their noggins. Has a mode button, to select from: Bluetooth only (Bluetooth 5.1 by the way), USB Gaming mode (uses the USB C dongle) and Dual Mode, uses both at the same time. I tried Dual Mode hooked to my phone and was able to take a call, works just like when you have two devices hooked up to a traditional Bluetooth headset. The biggest benefit is of course taking calls or getting a notification sound while gaming so you aren't completely tuned out of the outside world while being immersed 99 percent of the time. The one thing I think is weird is the power button. It's colored red, which is fine, but it looks like it is a slide switch, but it isn't, its of the press down only variety. I recommend this headset for gaming, I probably won't be seeing it much anymore though, my wife has stolen it for her Switch.

Pretty cool headset for the average gamer. The dual wireless connections are my favorite part. I can answer calls with Bluetooth while connected to my console or PC with the 2.4ghz knee deep into a game. This can also just be set to game mode. Although specifically designed for the Xbox they will also work on PC, Sony PlayStation and the Nintendo Switch with the included wireless adapter. The headset itself isn’t bad looking but not as fancy as it’s higher price competitors. For being such a light unit, it sounds really good and holds a charge for longer than I can game for these days. The Dolby Atmos has great bass and crisp highs, I was honestly shocked at the sound quality of these. Be sure to download the app to get full control of the settings. I was expecting much less at this price point. Did I mention they were comfortable...well they are, and I didn’t feel any discomfort after 8 hours of continuous use. You have multiple options for head size so they should fit most comfortably. The mic can be muted by flipping up the boom and inserting it flush into the headphones which is nice and clean looking or through the app. Seeing is how these are designed to be used with a phone simultaneously I would assume most would have a phone handy or nearby while using these. Pick a pair of these up, you won’t be disappointed.

I am glad that I got the RIG-600 Pro HX Wireless headset, and you will be too. The best function of these headsets is the Bluetooth range. It is spectacular. I can walk all over my house, and it doesn't drop the connection. I can hear a little bit of distortion at the far reaches, but it still stays connected, and I do not have to go back to reconnect on my XBOX. This is great for when I want to step away and get something to eat while still hearing what is going on. The versatility is also another great function of these headsets. Being able to connect to XBOX, Playstation, PC, and phone (two at a time) makes it worth the price. I can be playing a game, and when someone calls, all I have to do is hit the button on the side, and it cuts off my game audio and only allows the audio from my call. When the call is over, I press the button to end the call, and it switches back to my game audio. You can use the same button to control starting/stopping music and activate your VOICE ASSISTANT. The headset is very light, and I can wear it for hours without it bothering me. It can handle most abuse. You can actually twist it, and it doesn't break. The sound is good but not great. It doesn't achieve the level of bass that I like. There is a very nice app you can download to adjust the sound. It has three profiles you can set up for Low, Mid and High. You can easily check for updates with the app, change voice prompt language, set the power off timer, and turn on volume level protection. Even with the bass turned up all the way, it is not the level that I want. The bass is there, and don't take this as it is horrible, but it just needs to be more for me. This is an outstanding headset, so pick one up. You won't regret it.

I really liked these headphones. They sound great and are packed with features! Inside the box, you get the headphones, 2.4 GHz wireless adaptor, USB-C to USB-A adaptor, and a USB-C charging cable. The ear muffs are not attached to the frame as there as 3 size choices. I have a big head and chose the largest setting. They were a little snug, but not uncomfortable. Once I took care of that, I charged it up and tested it out. These headphones are pretty much plug and play. Just pop the wireless adaptor in and they pretty much sync up automatically. These headphones have a dual wireless mode that allows you to stay connected to your game audio via the wireless adaptor, and answer calls from your phone via bluetooth. Once connecting to my PC, I had to download the Dolby Access app and activate the headphones for the 3D audio, which is pretty darn cool if you ask me. It really adds a new dimension! If you want to make adjustments to the sound dynamics, you can download their Navigator App. This allows you do customize the eq settings as you wish. I did not make any adjustments, but they are there should I wish. The mic works very well and is muted by simply flipping the mic up and stowing it. All in all, I really liked these. The sound quality, especially 3D, is very good. They are a little snug, but not enough to detract from anything. 5 stars.

      Hi Trish,
We apologize the RIG 600 PRO HX didn't work out for you. Nacon Customer Support is available to help with connection via email at support.us@nacongaming.com or via phone at 1-833-622-6687. The RIG 600 PRO Series has three connection modes - GAME, BLUETOOTH and DUAL. GAME is for connection to the USB wireless transmitter included with the headset. BLUETOOTH is for connection to iPhone, Android, undocked Nintendo Switch and other devices. And DUAL mode will connect to both the transmitter and Bluetooth although only one connection is available at a time. GAME or DUAL mode is required for connection to Xbox and the transmitter needs to be plugged into your Xbox with the switch set to the controller symbol for Xbox. The switch should be set to "USB" for all other devices. We hope this helps. Thank you for giving RIG gaming audio a try. nacon-fr

Headsets can be fickle for gamers due to the long hours that we wear them. I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable these were after a nice long gaming session. These paired quickly with the system and I didn’t have an issue hearing anything in the menu. Now the meats and potatoes is how’s it handle in game! Wireless has always been a hit or miss with popping or crackling, but the RIG 600 Pro HX shine in this department. I tested Call of Duty and was amazed how they replicated the footsteps and minor details so accurately. This was a game changer and made me think these could have been easily a $300 headset for the quality they put out. Secondly, I tested these out in Diablo and put them through extensive discord chats on Xbox and PC. The clarity the mic delivered to the others was perfect. My friends didn’t hear me in a well or have grainy effect when I chatted. This was welcomed as heavy breathing and odd noises didn’t come through. Overall if you're looking to get a high quality headset that performs beyond its price tag get it! These are my new go to headset.
