Great value option for high end gaming headphones

You can buy better headphones but you’re going to pay twice as much. The new Rig coming with a base station was the improvement it needed.

Slightly different from Rig 800 LX

I definitely like the headset, but it's still different than the 800 LX. The Pro HX's ear cups are smaller than it's previous counterpart. That being said my ears still fit, it's just a smaller feel. Because the ear cups are also leather, there's more sound proof-ness than the LX. I wear glasses and the ear cups do push my glasses into my head a little more than the LX, but not to the point where it's painful. Just something to get used to. One thing that does annoy me a bit is that the sound always resets back to default when you turn it off. So if you have it at a certain volume, you'll have to turn it back up or down to where it was previously. DL;DR it's a good headset for sure, it just takes getting used to. Feels light on my head, is a little tight on my glasses but nothing to cause pain, has some sound proofing with the leather ear cups and the stand is very convenient for charging.
