Had consistent mic problems with an Xbox X - no one could hear me. Sound quality was great but there’s no Superman hearing option like the less costly TB model that I picked up. See my other review of those. Overall nicely constructed but heavy AF and that was the straw that pushed me to return and get the less expensive TB headset.

We apologize you had a less than ideal experience with the RIG 800 PRO HX. Just a few comments: Regarding the microphone, the RIG 800 PRO series does feature a uni-directional noise-canceling microphone that does need to point to your mouth for optimal performance. We even mark "CHAT" on the portion of the mic that points to your mouth - the mic should not be twisted more than a few degrees either way and that "CHAT" always needs to point at your mouth. Regarding the charging dock "disconnecting", when the headset is placed in the charging dock for about 15 minutes or more, it will power off in order to efficiently charge the battery. The battery will not charge effectively if the headset remains powered on. Thank you for giving the RIG 800 PRO HX from Nacon a try...
