The original Rig800 HX is much easier to use. it uses a delayed push button to turn on. The original uses a switch that starts right away. When you use boom mute the sound goes off for a couple of seconds.

Since i have bought thia's headset, i have had to factory reset it 3 times, and the spund quilty goes from good to really bad. Trammates can't hear me half the time even though I pretty much have the mic in my mouth. I did everything with in my control both on xbox and with reaching out to rig for help and got no wear. F-

      Hello That1SouthernGuy,
We apologize the RIG 800 PRO HX isn't working out for you. This headset features a uni-directional noise canceling microphone. The "CHAT" on the microphone boom tip must point towards your mouth so the primary microphone picks up your voice and the secondary executes on the ambient noise cancellation. If it is pointed up, down, or is twisted backwards, then the mic will cancel your voice. We hope this info helps everyone. And Nacon Customer Support is available to help via email at support.us@nacongaming.com or via phone at 1-*833-622-6687. Thank you for giving RIG gaming audio from Nacon a try. nacon-fr

I had my eye on this set for quite some time and I finally treated myself to these as a birthday gift. I use them for the Atmos sound feature during gaming and for virtual meetings at work. This set really delivers!

I bought my first pair of these headphones 2 years ago and they were great, I also purchased the best buy warranty for them. After the year the USB dongle was damaged and was loose in its housing so I exchanged them for another pair with my warranty. The 2nd pair had an issue with the mic after only a month so I contacted namco support and sent all my reciepts that it was recently purchased and the would not honor their warranty as the original date was over a year ago. I explained that this was a new purchase and could have used my warranty money towards any product but chose to get RIG again but they could care less. Awful customer support and poor quality control.

They are not a 150 dollar headset. The rig 700 is significantly better . These are latlrge and clunky. The flip to talk is always breaking . You can only go 10 ft before distorting I hate them honestly

      Hello ScottC,
We are glad to hear that you like the RIG 700 headsets. Unfortunately that line of RIG headsets is discontinued. We apologize the RIG 800 PO HX didn't work out for you. Most comment on it's great fit and comfort as one of the strong features. The self-adjusting headband strap really adds to the comfort. The RIG 700 Series had a removable mic and a mute button. RIG 800 PRO has a flip-to-mute mic which is more convenient. We have a 1-year warranty in the case that the mic were to break, the headset would be replaced under warranty. Regarding range, the 2.4GHz wireless connection can get up to 30 feet but that is depend on other RF and physical interference between the headset and wireless transmitter. RIG 700 had a 12 hour battery. RIG 800 PRO USB-C edition has 60 hours plus the multifunction base station for continuous charging when not worn. Thank you for giving the RIG 800 PRO series a try. nacon-fr

This headset is really light weight so no problem wearing it for hours. The earpieces dont make my ears sweat either. I have bought RIG headsets before and have never been disappointed.

      Hi NickR,
We apologize the RIG 800 PRO didn't work out for you. The RIG 800 PRO series has a very direction-oriented noise-canceling microphone. The word "CHAT" is printed on the boom tip - on the side that is supposed to be pointing at your mouth for maximum background noise cancellation. If the mic is pointing up, down, or if "CHAT" is pointing away from your mouth, you will actually be canceling out your voice transmit. With proper positioning, RIG 800 PRO HX has excellent background noise reduction for audio transmit. Thank you for giving RIG gaming audio a try. nacon-fr

The headset never connects like it should. I have to unplug and replig the usb all the time. It also randomly disconnects a few times a night. I have no idea why so many cordless headsets these days are horrible with connection problems and issues. I would NEVER recommend this to anyone.

      Hi Marc,
We apologize for the issue you are having with your RIG 800 PRO HX. By chance is your WiFi router near your wireless headset setup? They both may be operating on the 2.4GHz wireless network and interfering with each other. Easy fix is to just create some space between the headset/adapter combo and WiFi router. Or if dual frequency enabled, switch the router to 5GHz only. Nacon Customer Support is available for additional assistance including warranty serivce via email at support.us@nacongaming.com or via phone 1-833-622-6687. Thank you for choosing Nacon gaming products... nacon-fr
