Picked it up during Black Friday at a good price. Very happy with the headset. It's sturdy and well made. The sound is great. I'm very pleased.

Finally, a wireless headset that I can pair up with my Xbox series x. Im really looking forward to enjoying gaming late at night again.

quality has declined since playtonics sold to nanco. the previous models were made way better. the plasic is cheap and feels extremely light. i had issues with sound being too low. i ended up getting astros 700 gen 3, i am very pleased with them quality is amazing and was only $50 more during black friday. riggs 800xl from 2020 were way better

Worked ok but I had crackle and issues so ultimately went with steelseries instead.

This was going to be my third rig 800. I have had 2 800lxs before this one. Loved them. Bought this one and every time I turned it on, I would have to change my settings since it wouldn’t save them. The sound was not as good as the previous one either. I was very disappointed in it. Maybe I just got a faulty one?

Microphone quality seemed distant, basically distorted

I don't like the control options on the headset, and it picks up to much background noise.

honestly would’ve been a very good headset , if it didn’t break easily, I was playing the game with my friend and all of a sudden I hear a static and my mic stopped working i couldn’t talk at all and this was a month after getting it. disappointed, will not be getting a RIG headset

I’ve had a pair of RIG headsets in the past, and really enjoyed them. It’s nice to see the progression and improvements made over the years with this 800 Pro HX series. Out of the box it was simple, and easy to setup. I was able to plug the docking station to my my headset stand that have USB ports, and it did take the full 7 hours as recommended to charge. I really didn’t mind the length of time, because my hope would be it would last a while in between charges, and I was correct in that assumption. The docking station/stand it comes with is really what drew my to this headset. Having somewhere to set your headset, and also be able to charge it is really a win win, and space saver. The headset feels like good quality, but most importantly it feels amazingly, and surprisingly light on the ear. I think that’s a quality that I’ve enjoyed in the past from RIG. The ear cushions feel lightweight, and breathable and my ears didn’t sweat like other brands. They feel incredibly comfortable on ear for hours. No connectivity issues at all, which is very important to me. It loads up and connected instantly to my Xbox series X with no additional steps but to power it on which I LOVE. no fuss. Sound quality was amazing, I loaded up GTA V and was actually started by how crisp and clear it came through. I didn’t realize that the headset I was using really lacked that quality, despite being one of the leading brands. You get to customize the chat and game mixer, mic monitoring all on one side of the headset. The microphone is so long and flexible which I genuinely enjoy. I hate feeling like I couldn’t be heard with my previous mic because it wasn’t long enough. You just flip it up to mute, which is easy and simple. Overall I have literally no complaints. Great sound, great connectivity, great battery life so far in 5 days and hours of gaming sessions. Nice long mic, lightweight, I could go on. This will officially be my go to headset now.

I've been using a wired RIG headset for my xbox one for a couple years now and it has been by far my favorite headset I've used. When I saw they were releasing a new model and it was Bluetooth I knew I had to have it! unboxing was pretty satisfying. Everything was neatly placed and wrapped in plastic. The charging base is in a small brown box at the bottom of the RIG box. I recommend letting the headset charge before using- no one wants their headset dying in the middle of a game! I've found RIG headsets to be much more comfortable and lightweight than their competitors. This one is no exception. I could wear this headset and any RIG headset for hours without my ears getting achy or my neck hurting. I'm not big into chatting but I did test it out and it is perfectly clear on my buddy's end. The Dolby Atmos upgrade paired with noise-cancelling is top notch. You can hear every crunch and movement while playing a game giving you a nice competitive edge in my opinion. Audio was crisp and clear and I haven't had any connectivity issues. I play for hours on end and haven't had the battery die. The box says 24 hours of play on a charge but I don't play 24 hours straight, I typically put it back on the dock after use. The chat mic folds up and out of the way if you don't want to use it. I would prefer if it could come completely off as previous models did but it's not a deal breaker for me. I feel like RIG often gets overlooked because of some big name competitors but they are my go-to brand. I've had other brands break or just die, but I have never had any issues with a RIG. Overall, I highly recommend this wireless RIG headset to any gamer looking for the perfect headset.

The RIG - 800 Pro HX wireless headset are a great addition to your Xbox set up. These headset makes takes the gaming experience to another level. Dolby Atmos compatibility gives you 3D sounds as if the action is all around you. And the sound quality is fantastic. Equipped on the headset along with your standard volume control is the adjustability to change the balance between gaming volume vs party chat volume. While a mute button is available, when moving the mic in the upward position, automatically puts your mic in mute. The headset overall looks sleek and high quality. It is very light weight and comfortable to wear for long periods at a time. Part of the comfortably factor is the adjustability. There are three sizing adjustments as well as a removable stretchy band to provide a great fit. The ear cushions are nice and thick but feel really comfortable over the ears. Set up is really easy. This unit comes with a charging docking station and a wireless usb dongle. This gives you the flexibility to swap devices such as to a PC with ease. I connected the docking station to the Xbox leaving the wireless usb dongle on the docking station. The magnets on the headset makes for easy docking. Another neat feature is that the Xbox will automatically turn on when you pull your headset off the docking station. I would definitely recommend this set. If I had anything negative to comment about, that would be the 7 hour charge from 0 to 100%. However it has not been a concern for me as the battery provides hours upon hours of game play.
