Subpar product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the rig 800 lx before and was overwhelmed with how good they were so i thought the pros would be great however these were by far the worst headsets ive ever had. They are comfortable however the noise output is terrible so much that in a discord call or gamechat my friends couldnt hear me despite the mic being right on top of my mouth

The most common cause of wireless interference with the RIG 800 PRO series headsets is WiFi networks as both may be operating on the same 2.4GHz RF wireless networks. There are two ways to resolve interference: Create more space between your gaming setup and your WiFi router is one. Or if your router has the ability to select 2.4GHz or 5GHz networks, switch it to 5GHz. Very disappointed

Needless to say i grabbed these as a replacement. Less than 2 months and maybe 3 uses and they are completely unresponsive. This is the cheapest made headset you can get. The power switch is completely loose from the board. After looking st the inside. This is made cheaper than a 2 dollar childs toy. Dont waste your money they will fail uou.

Bad Product, Terrible Support
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this headset, used it for a few hours, and put it back in the box for over a year ( I just wasn’t playing many online games). When I got it back out, it wouldn’t charge or power on, even after being plugged in for hours. I google it and there is a common issue where the battery just completely dies if it’s not uses for a while. There are ways to make products without them having this issue, it’s not 2005 and battery technology has improved drastically, and they know it’s an issue. I emailed support and instead of helping me or giving me some way to at least pay to repair the headset or get a new battery, they respond with this, “ We apologize that you are having difficulty. Unfortunately, the one-year warranty period has passed, and the product is no longer covered for manufacturing defects. We sincerely hope you consider a new RIG headset for your future gaming needs. “ Needless to say I’m pretty irritated and will definitely not “consider a new rig headset”. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

We apologize you've had an issued with your RIG 800 PRO HX. There is no common issue where the battery in the RIG 800 PRO series headsets dies if it's not used for a while. There was an issue similar to this early on the previous Plantronics RIG 800 Series of headsets (2018) but that has long since be resolved. And this was never an issue for the 800 PRO Series from Nacon. As for warranty, Nacon has a 1-year warranty covering any manufacturer's defects. That warranty takes effect from the date of purchase, not from a date based on the product usage. We hope you find a solution that works for you. Thank you... Nacon Gaming, Inc.

Broke in less than 3 months

Best Buy will not replace or refund due to their absurd 15 day return period, unless you pay the outrageous cost for geek squad protection. This is a pathetic system designed to absolve Best Buy from having to claim responsibility for the poor products they sell. I will no longer be shopping here.

A Step down from predecessor.

I can't find any support or troubleshooting for this specific model on their website/youtube channel. This is my 3rd rig headset, but I'm not sure I'll replace it with the same one. Dissapointed at the support and the step down in quality. The previous RIG 800 I had came with a nice sturdy mic post that would raise and lower easily. This one has a wirey mic that bends when you try to push it up or down. I'd be really annoyed by this if I could actually get the thing to charge and turn on.

Please note, customer support information can be found on the Support page of our web site RIGGaming.com. You are correct that we have changed, upgraded the microphone on the RIG 800 PRO series. This pro-grade microphone is a step-up from the shorter version mic on the original 800 series. We regret to hear you didn't like the design but the new design puts the mic closer to the mouth for optimal performance of the uni-directional noise canceling microphone. There is a solid base arm on our new pro-grade microphone for the flip-up-to-mute function. Please contact Nacon Customer Support for further assistance.
