I have owned and used the Rig 800 LX for approximately 5 years and was excited to start using the 800 Pro HX. I have to say I prefer the Rig 800 LX over the Pro HX. Rig is now using the area on the bottom of the ear cup for connecting the headset to the charging base and in the process eliminated the equalizer button. There is no equalizer adjustment on the headset, which requires equalizer adjustments in the Atmos App. I could never get the same full sound when adjusting in the Atmos App. I missed having the ability to quickly change the sound profile by cycling through the equalizer button on the headset. The other thing that surprised me was the ear pads. The comfort level of the headset is still amazing, however, I found my ears were heating up quickly making them less comfortable overall than the cloth covered 800 LX ear pads. Build quality is still great, they are light weight, and the charging base and USB adapter is a nice touch. The headset adjustments work great, and don't worry about breaking them as many have expressed concerns about. The headset is very durable. Even though I prefer the sound on the LX, I have to say the new Pro HX had better bass. For FPS games, I much prefer the 800 LX. I was not apple to achieve the same level of clarity for the Pro HX using the Atmos App. If you never owned the 800 LX you may find you really like these. I hate to say this, but in my opinion there are better options out there, such as the Razor Kaira Pro, and Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2.

These are the highest quality headphones I’ve ever purchased and for the price I feel like it’s a steal. They’re super comfortable and never hurt my ears or head. Battery life is very good and have never had an issue. I also love how when you take them off the charger it automatically turns your Xbox on! Taking off and putting away the headphones is such a breeze and never have an issue. This purchase also came with a Dolby subscription and let me tell you, games like Ori in Dolby is truly a breathtaking experience!

Use these for gaming and the they are great. the sound quality is very good and battery life can last days before having to charge again. definitely worth it

Fantastic audio from these headphones. I love the charging pad as it makes it easy to keep it charged at all times. The comfort on these headphones are some of the most comfortable I've worn. They have very good padding to keep you comfortable. I would definitely recommend these headphones.

I was pretty surprised by almost every feature when first trying this headset. The battery lasts me multiple days, and with a charging stand that does its job very well, I haven’t even had to plug it in yet. Comfortable enough to wear for many hours before it gets a little sore. (i have yet to find a headset/headphones that doesn’t do that to me) A friend of mine recommended I give these a try and I would pass that along to anyone looking for a quality gaming headset in this price range!

Sound is great , these headphones block outdoor noise and are easy to wear for extended periods.

This headset is comfortable and games soubds good too. It feels sturdy and am hoping it will last me many years.

I have no issues. A feature that works great is being able to toggle the game sound as priority or the party chat. One over the other is great when waiting in lobby and activity in a game. The sound quality is good. Hearing footsteps or game specific audio, such as abilities, in game are essential for multiplayer. I am satisfied. The battery life in exceptional and the charging dock is a great feature as well.

Like the headset. Very comfortable. Plug and play with XBOX X. Would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for not being able to raise the volume a little higher than the max it allows. Also the previous RIG800 MODEL had a further range than this model. Otherwise they do sound pretty good. Not a bad buy!

Great sound, great feel, charging is nice, my wife uses these for her Xbox because I couldn't figure out how to use on my Pc.

These are my favorite headphones I've ever had. I used to strictly use Astros, but they were always so quiet. I connected these headphones and could tell the difference right away. If you can't afford these, buy their little brother RIG 700. The only difference is 700s aren't as comfy and 700s' mic comes unplugged. That's literally the only difference. Both are 10x better than Turtle Beach and/or Astro.

I am extremely happy with this purchase! They are well constructed and sturdy. The connectivity has been top-notch and I can't detect any delay. Sound quality is really good and can be tuned with the provided access to Dolby Atmos. The battery life and range is incredible.

Charging dock is very convienent, however, the microphone is a little bit annoying sometimes. Wish it was shorter and more firm. but overall great sound and great product.

I previously owned the turtle beach 700s. I had a lot of connection issues. A store associate suggested the Rig pro 800s. The sound quality is as good or a little better than the Turtle beach. The build quality isnt as good as the turtle beach, but not bad. Connectivity is much better and the charging station is good. The price was also good.

Good headphones for a decent price, The charging stand is a big plus to getting these even though the headphones naturally have a good battery life. Mic quality and sound quality are both solid, quite comfortable as well.

Great headset for true wireless gaming and movie watching without waking up the kids. Great surround sound with deep bass. Amazing for FPS with solid multidirectional audio. The charging base is a must. Comfortable on ears. No pressure on my ears since they sit around them instead. Game sound vs chat mixer is a huge plus. You can boost the game sound for those intense moments. Great deal in my book.
