Great head set. Sound is amazing for in games or if your just watching a movie. Also best buy has the best warranty you buy 2 years if it breaks or stops working you can return and get a new one no cost and you can put the plan onto your next set.

Comparing price ranges and pro/cons of other headphones, this one had the least amount of cons I would have not mind. They're soft and comfortable for hours of gaming. It says it's for xbox only but we have used it for the ps4. I used my best buy certificates to purchase these.

these have great sound and the dolby code is a nice plus but the game audio / mic audio balance is impossible to adjust where you can hear both. for the price i expected a bit more ability to customize the sound for online gaming

My grandson broke his wired headset and needed another one to talk to his friends while playing his game system. He chose this wireless headset because of the cool look. The wireless headset was easy for him to connect and he understood all the function, he is only eight years old. He was so happy with his choice.

The sound quality is great. I can easily hear where footsteps or gunfire is coming from which really helps game play. However the build quality is slightly lacking. It feels like cheap plastic and the power switch on mine came broken. I am in the process of replacing it through the warranty process.

I started off very impressed with this headset, it's very comfortable during long game sessions. Both the sound quality and voice quality are great (going off my friends' opinion on how my voice quality sounded). Unfortunately, I've had two of these in the last three years. Due to the fact that the muting mechanism is flipping the mic up into the headset, after about a year and a half the mechanism will break and short and result in extremely loud crackling when unmuting it muting the mic until it inevitably just stops working all together. While the first year and a half were great each time, I cannot recommend this headset.

I really wanted to like these and for a few weeks I did. I loved that they are completely wireless. When they work as intended they really are good. They are not groundbreaking from an audio standpoint but they are sufficient for gaming. I did not experience any issues with the bass bottoming out as referenced in other reviews. Unfortunately, several others have had problems with the unit disconnecting frequently and I too have had this problem. This was truly my only grievance with this headset. After reading several reviews and responses from the Plantronics Customer service team, I have decided to return these rather than submit a warranty claim.

Hello and thank you for your honest review! We are sorry to hear about that, lets try the following first: 1) Disconnect the receiver from your device. 2) Turn on your headphones. 3) Hold the power switch all the way up and let go once you hear "pairing". 4) Connect the receiver. 5) Press and hold its button until the LED flashes. 6) Wait for the connection to establish and test. This will reset the wireless connection and most likely take care of the issue. If you continue to experience difficulties, please don't hesitate to contact Plantronics Customer Care at 855-765-7878, additionally, you have a 1 year warranty from the purchase date, if needed. plantronics

I honestly loved this headset at first. So much so that I also bought my wife one for her Xbox after using mine for a couple of months. The headset is extremely comfortable. The distance between the usb dongle and the headset is substantial. Having two headset within 20 feet of each other and in use at the same time has not been an issue. The sound and controls are amazing as well. However... my mic has stopped working at around 16 months of moderate use. Testing this was easy for me since we have another one in the house. I simply unplugged mine and tried my wife’s unit in my Xbox without changing any settings. Hers works and mine doesn’t, so my mic has obviously died. After all of the things that I loved about this unit, why did I only give it one star? It’s because I could have spent around $25 on a wired headset that sounded really nice as well. Of course they won’t last as long, but I could have bought one about every 11 weeks for the same price I paid for this unit within the same amount of time it lasted for me. And although the cheaper wired units don’t typically last as long, they certainly last longer than 11 weeks. In 16 months, I’d expect to only have to purchase two $25 wired headsets. That’s $50 for inexpensive wired vs $150 for the RIG over the same period of time. For the price, it needs to last much longer. BTW, I should mention that my broken RIG is always meticulously stored when not in use, so it’s never subjected to anything outside of normal usage. I just can’t justify blowing $150 on a headset that only lasted a couple months longer than the warranty.

I bought these headphones for the sole reason they also work with Xbox, most wireless headphones that are for pc can be used for ps4 but there are a select few that work with Xbox and this is one of them. They charge within a couple hours but last me a more than 20+ hours. Honestly they are worth every dollar

Solid headphones, son says they are very comfortable to wear. Lasted a year and a half then mic started to get some static. This is second pair, Geek squad warranty was worth it! Recommend on all headsets but these definitely lasted the longest.

Headphones have forever hurt my head and so I generally wouldn't wear them, but my sons insist they make for a better gaming experience. I've tried using both of theirs (Turtle Bch 500(?) and Astro A40) and never liked the feel. The RIG 800LX SE are way more comfortable than those, and they are right, headphones do immerse you in the game. Again, these are comfortable. No pain on top of the head, not too much squeezing from the side. Soft fabric instead of vinyl. So I actually wear them, and the sound is pretty impressive for the price. Dolby Atmos is a definite plus as it really puts the sound all around, and above you. Be sure you test all the audio settings in your game's options for the best setting. Very happy with this gaming headset it's surprisingly good.

Bought these for my stepson for Xmas last year and he still uses them like crazy!! He absolutely loves them! For the price I paid for them the certainly rival some of the other more expensive headsets I've used in the past. Good bang for the buck.

Doesn't have noise cancelling, so if your house is loud it might be a problem. Charged for Atmos, however the headset comes with 2 year membership. Its lightweight and comfortable. It's worth the try. Cause at Best Buy you can easily upgrade it exchange.

if you want to hear every little footstep in your gaming experience these are the headphones. Dolby atmos is what I have in my theater room and I wanted the same kind of sound in my headphones. Worth every penny once you don't load the app with the card provided.

Hands down the best headset for my XBox. Astro's made my ears sweaty. Turtle Beach weren't big enough and scrunched up my ears, but these are just right. Save a couple bucks off the Astro's, couple bucks more than the Turtle Beach's, and not regret it.

I had the wired headset and upgraded to the wireless...overall it’s a good headset with excellent battery life. The mic is a little in the way so you have to allow for it, but overall it’s a good not great headset. A little too expensive for the overall quality

Picked this headset up as a replacement to my turtle beach headset that stopped working. All I can say is wow what a difference. Comes with 2 years Dolby Atmos for Xbox which is basically a $30 savings for a $150 headset. The sound is incredible!
