Bought this for it's reliable and range for its wireless capability. Lost only a few connection after my XBox was turned off, that I had to manually pair the headset again but acceptable. Mediocre sound quality and not loud enough in my opinion. But very comfortable to wear for hours of gaming. The Dolby Atmos for activation is included which is a nice bonus, although not many games actually support this feature.

I have a Turtlebeach stealth 700 and then came across this "Rig". The Dolby Atoms sound is way better than the windows sound on the 700. It's way more comfortable than the 700. The user controls are way easier to use when gaming. The microphone mic monitoring works way better and doesn't pick up every little sound that's going on in your house just your voice. The battery life is way better than the 700 and overall just a better "Rig".

I have owned many sets Astro A50, Turtle Beach and nothing compares to these! They are the the most comfortable, best sounding and lightest most comfortable headset I have ever used. They are a steal at this price. The just work not disconnecting, zero issues. Don’t bother looking at any other headset! Just pick these up and I promise you won’t be disappointed. I use them with my Xbox one X.

I was looking at these and TB700. The Dolby Atmos and reviews I've researched made me choose the RIG. These are good headphones I just don't think they're worth $165. The sound quality is what stands out for these over other brands. I couldn't tell the difference between these and my Bose SoundLink headphones other than the RIG has better isolation of sound around the ear. The microphone is the worst thing about this headset were it picks up sounds in the entire room so there is no isolation there if you're chatting with friends. If you have a ceiling fan or just a fan in the room the mic will pick up the wind. This by no means is a bad headset just think for the price tag noise cancelling mic should be a given. Battery life is extremely well it took me 2 days to fully charge this thing and I almost returned it because I thought it was faulty. Comfort wise these aren't as comfortable as my Bose. It's decent, there is a frequency kinda noise in the headset that is annoying as well that happens sometimes. Overall, I'd recommend it if it's in sale don't buy full price and if you're wanting a headset to use more for sound and less chatting on Xbox live then look into it. If you're looking for a headset for chatting I'd go with something that has mic noise cancelling like the TB 700 or look into other brands.

Stopped playing with my regular surround sound and use these exclusively. Listed to these while playing an Xbox game enabled with Dolby Atmos and you’ll never want to play another way again.

Great purchase. Long term use is easy due to its light weight. Sound quality is definitely there and the options for adjustment is vast especially with the correct software use. Battery life is definitely a plus and have no problem going multiple days without needing a charge. Bluetooth has shown no issues, no interference, and no noticeable lag. Significantly less than buying something like astros. Much better value with this headset.

My uses for the rig800lx is PC and XBOX switching between them is really easy. I play games and watch Netflix using this headset. I’m no audiophile, but I had no complaints of sounds. I’ve read reviews of deep bass/ explosions were a problem, but I haven’t noticed that. Besides the good sound the light weight feeling of the headset is really nice and the long battery life is a big plus.

This is by far the best headset you can buy. In every category it gets 5 Stars. Sound, Price, Construction, Range, reliability, Set up, and Comfort all 5 Stars. You can spend more money but you won't top this headset. I didn't rate it for over a year because I usually only rate products that fail. This one never has it works as good as it did from day one out of the box.

This is one incredible headset. The sound is crystal clear and the surround sound reproduction is better than my stereo, now I can hear when someone (or something!!!) is sneaking up behind me. All my friends say my voice transmits clearly and having the ability to balance the game vs voice audio right on the headset as well as the overall volume is very convenient. I shave my head and finding a headset that I could wear for an extended period of time was fruitless until I discovered this one. The cloth strap that sits below the frame is very comfortable and the ear cups fit comfortably as well, even when I had my 00 gauge stretchers in! If I need another headset in the future it will be one of these or a newer model. (I'm half tempted to look for a sale and buy another pair as back up, they are simply that great!) If you're on the fence take the jump, you won't regret it.

Best headset for the money. Most comfortable headset out there, I’ve tried many and I settled for the cheaper version that was wired but was left wanting more. Ended up spending the extra money for the wireless version and was well worth the money. No complaints about the mic from people I played with. Holds a decent charge for a couple days. Surround sound is good I think not a big audiophile.

the sound ++, controls+ ( ive used worse), range - not long enough for me, but hey the are completely console and controller free, no more yanking something down because your wired! So it gets a plus for that.+, charge and play is also a + along with play time...all day charge + and reasonably priced +. Overall a solid purchase, very happy

Pricey but the best headset I've ever worn. Dolby Atmos support changed how I played FPS and I've gotten more kills because of this headset. Easy to use, comfortable as heck and battery life is great. If you're looking for a headset, stop buying turtle beach's. I got tired of the lack of quality and these don't dissapoint

I owned a great Astro headset that unfortunately died on me after about 6 months, so I picked up a Turtle Beach that had good sound quality but mic was terrible. I found this Plantronics unit that was only a bit more than the Turtle Beach one I returned and I've been in love with it ever since. Sound quality is fantastic, battery life is exceptional (I'm getting about 11 hours on a charge) and the mic is clear for my friends to hear me. This headset also has a bunch of volume control knobs on the side which are really helpful for quickly changing volume and adjusting balance between game volume and voice volume. This headset, unlike the Turtle Beach, has a small receiver you plug in to the xbox. It's fine, but when I want to use these headsets with my PC I have to unplug it and move it. Not a dealbreaker, but something to note.

These I can actually say is the best wireless gaming headset I’ve purchased. They are supper comfortably to wear around especially when that food is ready from that microwave. The Dolby Atoms is also a plus. If you are looking for a comfortable, wireless, excellent sounding gaming headphones, don’t look no further.

I have been using LucidSound LS31 for a couple of years now. I got these because they felt way more comfortable when I tried them in the store but it’s actually more than just comfortable...one amazing thing everytime you turn it on, it says “battery high” and then “headset connected”. Comes with Dolby Atmos and got it a decent sale price. Really comfortable over the ears for hours at a time.

I bought this primarily to play single player games after the wife goes to bed. I didn’t want to sacrifice great sound, but I didn’t want to break the bank. This headset exceeded my expectations. It’s extremely comfortable—even when I wear glasses—and the Dolby Atmos sound is phenomenal. I picked them up when they were on sale for $100 and I couldn’t be happier.

These are very comfortable. I gave away my brand new Turtle Beach wireless headset after wearing these one time. Could be louder but they work good for games. Dolby Atmos is very nice. It moves the sound around you. It dont just move from ear to ear. Very light and breathable. Virtually no mic feed back. Good thing they don't block out sounds. Flexible mic is nice. Worth every penny.
