Not good for the price

But that's not the worst part... I've had it happen a few times where the volume cranks up to a deafening level and eventually I could get it to go back to normal. Well this last time I cant seem to do anything and the headset wont allow me to turn it down. No way to update the firmware from the xbox and on pc the software app from the website wont even detect it plugged in. Just use the manufacturers warranty you say? Well I bought it in Oct 2018 and it is now Jan 2020 and the warranty voided on the first of Jan 2020. So I got less than a year and half out of these POS. I should've bought the geek squad 2 year warranty

Please configure the volume levels on both volume dials located on the headset and inside the console settings as well to reach optimum audio quality. If you get the same results you might want try resetting the connection between the headset and adapter. To do so: Make sure the device switch, on the back of the USB receiver, is set to Gaming Console before you connect it to a different USB port in the Xbox One. On the USB receiver, press and hold the link button until you see the light flashing red and blue. To remove an ear cup you need to apply some pressure. Perhaps, there was an actual problem with the ear cups. Amazing Headphones For Xbox & PC
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the regular xbox headset ever since i got my xbox one a couple years ago but have had some turtle beaches in the past. I was looking for a wireless headset that i could use that was comfy and was made with quality. I have always known turtle beach to be up there for the known brands. I chose this based off of design, battery life, and compatibility. After i started using it i loved it! I got nervous thinking the turtle beach 420x+ (same price) may be better so i went and purchased it to compare. I had it on my head for one game of halo and immediatly hated it. The headband and earcups were no where near as comfortable and i returened it the next day. The only reason i am not giving this 5 stars is because of the game/mic volume scroll being the same and not separated; other than that this is one of the best headsets i have ever worn. Pros: Great Battery Life Great looking design SUPER COMFORTABLE Love the mic mute by flipping it up Easy to use Dolby Atmos is amazing (and free with this headset) Cons: I wish it had mic monitoring so i could hear myself (hopefully an update or a new model will have it) I wish you could adjust the game volume and mic volume separately instead of it being on one knob that you turn to what you want to hear more
