The right ear piece had something loose in it upon first use; making it rattle every time I'd turn my head. There are only 3 levels of tension support. If you adjust it to the tightest setting, the headset moves slightly while wearing. They are not worth the money.

Best Mic I have Owned, With only one downfall

The sound is unbeaten with great bass and surround sound quality, The fit is nice and I wear glasses when I game considering my eyes get dry if I wear my contacts while I game. They fit nice even with glasses on and doesn't hurt my ears after long periods of use. I love how you can hear yourself so you aren't yelling to see if you are loud enough. I personally had a horrible experience with all of my previous detachable mics with numerous replacements and the fact this one is not detachable is personally a great feature. I love the slick back mute feature not having to look for a mute button and just being able to put the mic up is a cool reliable feature. My friends never complain that i'm being to quiet or to loud. The biggest problem for me with this mic is the extreme sensitivity the mic has, it catches everything, literally everything. I understand the purpose which is to allow you to hear what's going on around you while you have the mic on, but at times it can be extremely annoying if the A/C or if the fan is on. The mic has served me well with an amazing battery life, exceptional sound quality and great durability. I would recommend this mic to anyone on PC or Xbox, a true steal for the value and definitely the best mic i've ever owned and would recommend to any gamer.

DONT BE FOOLED THIS HEADSET SUCKS!

Every 3rd time you turn the Xbox on, the mic doesn’t work and you have to hard reset the console. Look it up on google. I did, read it, thought”nah no big deal can’t be true”. It’s true. And plantronics has done nothing to fix it. 150 down the drain, this thing SUCKS.

If it wasnt for bestbuy geek squad insurance i would have been out of money! The headsets are awesome but when the mic goes out and everyone hears static its not worth the money! Been thru over 4 of these and the same thing keeps happening!

If you are having some issues with the microphone, you may want to make sure the headset is set up properly under your gaming console audio settings. You may also want to establish a new connection between your wireless adapter and headset. 1) Unplug the wireless adapter from your gaming console and restart it (completely turn it off and back on). 2) Reconnect the adapter and press and hold down the linking button on your adapter until it starts flashing an alternative red and blue. 3) Once flashing red and blue please put your headset in pairing mode by pressing and holding the power switch towards the linking icon until it starts flashing red and blue as well. 4) Once the headset stops flashing and the LED light on the adapter is solid purple means they are successfully connected. Last but not least, we recommend testing the headset with your PC to completely isolate the issue. If for some reason you still encounter the same issue with the headset, then it means it has an actual problem and it is best to replace it. Great Headset for a great price!

I wanted something wireless but after being recently married, price was a major issue. I did some research and came across the Rig 800LX. After reading numerous reviews, watching online overviews and testing the comfort at my local store I pulled the plug on these. And I must say I am really, really enjoying this headset! Plus, the Dolby Atmos on this set is incredible and really does give this head set and extra boost when playing games. I would highly recommend this head set to any one who wants something affordable, comfortable (for someone who wears glasses) and wireless! Great Head set! 5 out of 5!

I have several friends that recommend this headset. I also have had a couple of friends advise against these because the boom mic cutting in and out. I decided to give them a try, thinking that good would out weigh the bad. Boy, was I wrong. I am experiencing the same mic issue. IF you do not fold the mic up, and just keep it open the entire time, then you are great. IF you fold the mic up, then you are going to have a bad time. Mic will cut in and cut out and you are going to have to try and try again to get it to maybe work. Plantronics can make a great headset, but the make poor gaming headsets.

Nacon provides a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturers defects on RIG headsets and controllers. The warranty is valid from date of purchase. The flip-to-mute microphone is intended to be muted when flipped up and live when flipped down. If somewhere in the middle, that could cause the mic to go in-and-out of mute. Thank you
