Please try using a different micro-USB cable and AC adapter in order to isolate the cause of the issue. You might also want to try holding the power switch in the upmost position for about 10 seconds to see if you get any response. If you get the same results then most likely the unit has an actual problem and it is best to replace it. Please note this unit has a one-year limited warranty from date of purchase. You should be able to register your product and submit a claim through our website. Posted .Hello and thank you for your review on our RIG 800LX headset, however, we are sorry to hear about your experience. If you are experiencing some issues with the microphone, you may want to make sure the headset is set up properly under your gaming console audio settings. You may also want to establish a new connection between the headset and the wireless adapter. To do so: 1) Unplug the wireless adapter from your gaming console and restart it (completely turn it off and back on). 2) Reconnect the adapter and press and hold down the linking button on your adapter until it starts flashing an alternative red and blue. 3) Once flashing red and blue please put your headset in pairing mode by pressing and holding the power switch towards the linking icon until it starts flashing red and blue as well. 4) Once the headset stops flashing and the LED light on the adapter is solid purple means they are successfully connected. Last but not least, we recommend testing the headset with your PC to completely isolate the issue. If for some reason you still encounter the same issue, then it means the headset has an actual problem and it is best to replace it. Lets try the following first: 1) Disconnect the receiver from your device. 2) Turn on your headphones. 3) Hold the power switch all the way up and let go once you hear "pairing". 4) Make sure the switch on the back of the receiver is set to your desired device, connect the receiver. 5) Press and hold its button until the LED flashes. 6) Wait for the connection to establish and test. This will reset the wireless connection and most likely take care of the issues. If you continue to experience difficulties, please don't hesitate to contact Plantronics Customer Care at 855-765-7878, additionally, you have a 1 year warranty from the purchase date, if needed.

RIG800's were way more comfortable with better battery life and at half the price. After my son tried mine on he went and bought a pair for himself and got rid of his turtle beach set. Excellent quality sounding wireless headset. Also works with windows PC. If your thinking about getting these or are looking for a quality and comfortable sounding headset you will not be disappointed with these!

I never thought to write a review, but I think it’s finally time after some wear and tear on them. I’m not sure how long headsets are supposed to last but never in three years have I had an issue with them until now. I haven’t used them for about a month, which before never mattered. I could always boot them up at least at low battery and now the headset won’t even charge. They just suddenly stopped working. I’m well past warranty so there’s nothing to do there, I just personally find it frustrating to have spent so much money on a nice headset to have the crappy $60 set that I bought 5 years ago still work. All in all, they’re awesome. The surround sound is amazing and they are by far one of the most comfortable headsets I’ve owned, but as far as the sudden charging issue which now renders them useless, that’s disheartening. I would still suggest it as one of my favorite headsets, but with a disclaimer that you’d be buying a new set in a few years.

These not only have a nice comfort to them but the Dolby Atmos is superb and included for free ($5 value) and the battery life is astounding compared to any other headset this generation. This a must buy for your favorite gamer this holiday.

The microphone worked very well on these, and the wireless range is over 100 feet. Overall these are pretty good, and I would repurchase if there was an updated version.

Wow, this is better then $500 Astro. The memory foam ear cups are so comfortable. The headset is so light, don't even notice you have it on after a while. I love the lift mic up to mute. The Dolby Atmos sound quality is awesome. No other headset can be better then this. None.
