Had them for 3 years now and still my favorite gaming headset. Extremely comfortable to wear, great party sound, crystal clear in game sound, never had any issues at all. Battery life lasts a long time. I have gone through many headsets in the past and Ill be sticking with this until it breaks.

I’ve been looking for a headset for awhile that’s well priced and sounds great. This is the one! It’s a true 24 hour battery life on this headset. Sometimes I can go all week on a charge playing 2-3 hours a night. Most of the other headsets only have a +/- 6 hour charge. They’re also light weight and super comfy. Highly recommended!

I had a polk head set and turtle beach before these and loved them and then a rep reviewed this headset to me so I though I would try it as great reviews. I do a lot of research before I buy and I can say in instantly was worth the buy. Better than turtle beach and polk. Sound is amazing, easy to set up and very comfortable. most comfortable pair I have owned. I would recommend anyone to try this as it will exceed expectations. If u like turtle beach or polk you will love this more.

I've used Turtle Beach 700, Astro A40TR and finally landed these Rig 800LX. I'm very impressed by not only how light these headphones are but also how long the battery lasts. The sound quality is amazing, I feel that with the Turtle Beach all the sound gets muzzled into one part of the head set and you really can't tell the difference of where shots are coming from or foot steps. With the A40TR yeah the mixamp makes EVERYTHING so loud and you can tweek the EQ settings on your computer but I feel that's basically it, it doesn't give you that surround sound feeling. With these, accompanied by the Dolby Atmos app, I can decipher if the shots are from close left or far left, if foot steps are under me or over me. And I've been told that I sound way better when talking, I no longer yell at the mic and really don't have to put it near my mouth or have to breath on it. I am very satisfied with this product and for the price I bought it at ($130) I have only positive things to say about it.

I bought these about a year and a half ago and they are still my favorite headset. I've tried a lot - even the SteelSeries Arctic Pro Wireless. I can wear these for hours on end - with glasses. Every other headset bothers the sides of my head and puts too much pressure when used with my glasses (especially the Artic Pros), but not these. The sound quality is pretty good. They're not really sound cancelling, but that's not something I really need. Comfort is more important in my book. The set-up is easy. It may not be flashy like some of the other headsets, but that's not necessarily something I need. If you're looking for an affordable, comfortable, long-lasting headset that's easy to use, and won't cost an arm and a leg, then this is the headset for you.

I bought this a few month ago and honestly its pretty good. Comfortable, Quailty sound, and easy to set up. I do have only two problems though, first is when I get even alittle bit far from the place where its connected it disconnects and causes an extremely loud buzzing noise. Second, is when I switch from Xbox to PC it fails to connect right away and I have to pair it again which always takes some time. Overall, I like it but I don't think it's worth as much as it is and if you're worried about the things I mention you should probably keep looking.

These headphones are fantastic, the battery life is phenomenal, they are extremely comfortable, and they sound amazing, especially with Atmos. 10/10 would buy again.

Absolutely incredible headset, it’s definitely worth every penny!

I think the headset is great overall. The sounds are amazing but my only probem is when im playing with my buddies. They would say sound like im underwater or the sound is very static. The battery life is great. The only problem with the headset is the static.

I bought these on sale over the weekend to use with an Xbox One X. Packaging was barebones but had all the necessary items to hook things up. There is no USB power adapter included for charging, only a USB cable. I guess they expect you to plug them in to the console for charging. I had a spare charger lying around so it wasn't a big issue. They are the most comfortable headphones of any brand I have ever owned. I've tried Philips, Sony, Bose, and Beats. I have a very large (obese) head and these were easy to adjust and fit my head without any discomfort. My first day trying them out I played for over 6 hours without issue. I want to make it clear that I dropped 1 star off of my review for one single reason: the setup instructions that come with these are completely and utterly useless. It's nothing but a 4 pane comic of pressing a sync button. No description whatsoever of what to connect or when to sync to actually get these to work. After much frustration I finally turned the headset off and tried turning them back on again after which audio finally came through the headset. I had already synced the headset but for the life of me could not figure out why there was no sound coming through them. Plantronics website has zero documentation for this particular model as well and their supposed video setup guide is for a completely different wired product that uses RCA cables. SERIOUSLY!

I bought these to replace an older set of RIGs that the mic finally gave out on. That and I was tired of the wire always getting in my way. Dolby Atmos does make a huge difference to the games sound, even on games that are not optimized for it. The mic position is a good solution to having a seperate mute button. Just push the mic fully up and against the headset and you can talk to others in the room without disturbing party/game chat. A minor, though not a deal breaker, is the controls for volume and chat. They look and more importantly feel identical. Also, they don't stick out far enough to get a good grip on them for adjustment while playing. Here is a deal breaker. They don't last for 24 hours of just playing and far less if you chat. The worst part is you will need to charge them for more than 24 hours (Closer to 36 hours +) before you can use them again.

I been going threw alot of headsets cause of how picky i am i had the turtle beach elite 800 the 420x the 700s didnt like any of them tons of friends told me to try these rig 800lx and let me just say i dont know y i didnt buy sooner 5 out of 5 from me love them comfortable sounds great mic works well enough for console play

I was already using the Dolby Atmos app on my Xbox One with some Turtle Beach X07s. I wondered if this hardware would really make a difference... I can tell you that it DOES, and it's dramatic! I hear significantly more detail with a far greater range. Other big pluses on these: - VERY light headset, extremely comfortable even on my big head. - Love the flip-to-mute feature - Love having easily findable volume controls on the headset Highly recommend!

I'm not an avid gamer by any means, but I do love good audio. I'm very impressed with what these have to offer. I use them for mild gaming with my Xbox One S and they haven't let me down yet. Very lightweight and comfortable.

Best headphones I’ve owned. Sound is crystal clear. Stays charged for long periods of time. Extremely comfortable on ear for hours. Dolby sound is well worth the cost. Highly recommended.

This is a great headset for gaming. The audio quality is awesome and the Dolby Atmos surround sound feature is a huge plus in detecting the location of enemies. The Dolby Atmos setup is extremely easy. Just redeem the code in the Xbox store, download the Dolby Access app, and change the audio output in the settings to "Dolby Atmos for headphones". Boom. My friends can clearly hear me through the mic and it's nice that you can adjust the mix between game volume and chat volume. One flaw I would address is that I haven't noticed any differences between the presets but that's nothing major. If you are reading this, I would definitely encourage you to buy this headset.

This headset is by far the best headset I have ever purchased for the Xbox. There are no wires at all, no chat cable. I have used this for about a total of 30 hours of gameplay. The headset is crystal clear. There are no annoying crackles and the sound never drops. The chat is also very clear. The range on these are better than any other wireless headset I've owned which is quite a few different brands. I like these enough I have told all my friends to buy this headset.

Amazing headset with fantastic sound for the price, and Atmos! But... there is one potentially fatal design flaw. The wire attached to the microphone inside tugs every time you lift the mic up or down which can eventually lead to the mic shorting out or going out all together. If you're good with electronics, it's easy to fix if it does happen. But it would just be best to get the longest warranty you can.

I purchased TWO headsets at 149.99 for xbox one for me and my son and both of are experiencing the headset just dropping out and not reconnecting for some time. Trying different USB's resyncing, but only thing that seems to work most times is resetting the consoles. This is happening on two separate xbox one's that are updated and are not close in proximity and generally not on at the same time. I was hoping there would be an update patch, but doesn't seem so. Have had these about 2 weeks now and I most likely will be returning them for turtle beach. Any suggestions ? i have checked settings and updates and just no dice for two separate pairs.

great sound and very light weight. Best headset ever owned until it broke and zero customer support. Purchased 11 months ago and when you move the mic from mute to unmute it makes a loud static noise that continues until you find the right spot. Eventually it stops working. I have done all the updates and from research online this is a very common problem. The company was sold almost a year ago and the new company, Nacon, does not respond after 15 emails sent about product. I have heard that Astro gaming has amazing customer service so the extra $150 might be worth it than purchasing another RIG800LX.
