It does everything he was looking for, connects between Xbox and his phone if getting a call, drowns out the kids while he’s in an intense match on COD. And keeps him from having to listen to any of my “I got an idea” or “I was thinking” requests. 10/10 would purchase again.

Very comfy and can’t even tell they are on my head. So I was anxious to get these new 900’s with Bluetooth. Well they don’t fit. Nacon ran the wire connecting the drivers in with the elastic band and they don’t sit all the way down on my ears. Also puts more pressure on my temples making these headsets extremely uncomfortable. Couldn’t speak to sound quality because I boxed them back up when they didn’t fit.

We do apologize that the RIG 900 Max didn't work out for you. Comfort and fit is a very subjective aspect of headsets. We do want to point out that the RIG 900 Max has the RIG signature snap-fit design allowing users to select small, medium or large fit. When set to the largest setting, it's approximately 6 3/4 inches from the edge of each perpendicular ear cup memory foam cushion. On the RIG 800 PRO series headsets, the wire between speakers sits along the top headband like on the original 800 Series so this line of Nacon RIG products might be a better fit for you. A friend of mine needed a new headset for his ps5 prodomenently but was considering getting an xbox. For that and switch compatibility, these sounded great! Out of the box day one issues were, connectivity both with console and bluetooth no matter how connected. The bluetooth and audio source selection button completely stoped functioning. Ten minutes into trying to set these up, the mic no longer wanted to shutoff when in the full upright position despite the beeps happening to indicate it was off. When the mic is on it is nothing but constant static and gargled audio. If you played with the wiring between ear cups even a hair it got worse. A $249 dollar headset should not perform in this way. I stuck my neck out for this brand as i had great results in every way with the 800 lx. Quality has gone down the toilet! Important features such as the chat to game audio dial have been lost as well. Another noted issue is the microphone is no longer detachable and there for replaceable in the event of its failure. All of this is on par with todays standards of customers paying more to receive less. Customer support will be called and hopefully this can be resolved. If a second headset performs in this manor we will be moving on to the competitors products!

We apologize for the issues you've had - definitely sounds like you need a replacement. We want to address a few comments: Connectivity to Xbox, PlayStation, and PC are via the USB 2.4GHz wireless transmitter included and the mode should be set to Game or Dual for use. Connectivity to Switch could be via USB transmitter if the Switch is docked or via Bluetooth direct to the unit. Mode should be set to Game (for USB only), Bluetooth for Bluetooth only, or Dual for either USB or Bluetooth. Please note, if using Dual on a console and a call comes in to your paired smartphone, it will stop the game audio. Set to "GAME" to avoid this. Mic should always mute if upright, we have not heard of this issue in the past. Since the transmitter operates on 2.4GHz like most home WiFI, always a good idea to create space between your gaming setup and your WiFi router. Regarding game/chat audio balancing, this feature is available for Xbox as it was on the RIG 800LX. When connected to an Xbox, press the multi-function button (button above volume dial), and then adjust game/chat balance using the volume dial. (See QuickStart Guide section #11). We moved to a non-detachable microphone based on consumer feedback. We hope you give us a chance to replace this unit. Thank you for choosing RIG gaming audio from Nacon.
