On the wireless transmitter, there is a switch. When set to the console controller symbol, it's in Xbox mode. The switch will only be in this position for Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S. But after some investigation, we did find that 2.4GHz networks aren't entirely immune. But there are ways to help. A high-speed audio cable will not help since this headset is only wireless. Our research yielded the following: a 2.4GHz wireless audio connection can experience lag, although generally less than Bluetooth due to its faster transmission speeds, but it can still be affected by interference from other devices using the same frequency band like Wi-Fi routers, microwaves, and cordless phones, which can lead to audio glitches or delays. Key points about 2.4GHz audio and lag: Interference is the main culprit: The 2.4GHz band is crowded with various devices, so if there's a lot of activity on that band, your audio signal can be disrupted causing lag or stuttering.
