I am concerned about the battery part coming out if not installed a particular way and worried when I move would i have to repurchase new ones or does the sticky tape let me replace it? Basically what happens when I want to move?

Best Buy would not stop emailing about reviewing this, so here it is. You would think they woud know most things purchased between Thanksgiving and Christmas are more than likely gifts for someone else.

It sounds like to the device is not functioning as expected. The Ring Alarm Contact Sensor (2nd Gen.) is designed to work with the Ring Alarm Base Station to be keep your entrances secure. The Ring Alarm Base Station is required to connect and configure the sensor.
