Got this to complete the ring alarm system, installed it, but unable to verify it’s working, hope it will like it says.

Hello SRiggs
Thank you for getting in touch about this. Mount the Glass Break Sensor at least 7 feet off the ground and within 25 feet of any glass windows or doors inside your home. This and more information is available on the Help Center page for the Glass Break Sensor: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/4413721840660.
Best Wishes, Ivan from Ring

Both glass breaker sensors died within 6 weeks of installation -- poor quality. Then it took over 3 weeks to get them replaced by Geek Squad from Best Buy in Lady Lake, Florida. Not happy.

Hi PatH.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us.
We understand how important it is for your Ring Alarm Glass Break Sensors to function consistently and reliably. You should be able to enjoy the peace of mind that the Ring Alarm Glass Break Sensor is designed to add to your home security. It is our top priority to ensure your devices are working as intended.
It sounds like you have some concerns with the Ring Alarm Glass Break Sensor. If you’ve already attempted all of the troubleshooting steps we provide in our support center and you’re still having difficulty with your Glass Break Sensor, you can try to factory reset the device.
This will remove the device from your Base Station and reset the device to its default settings.
Remove the back cover and locate the small pinhole inside the battery compartment labeled RESET. Insert a paperclip or similar tool into the pinhole and hold it down for 10 seconds. The LED on the front of the device will quickly flash green for 10 seconds. When the flashing stops, remove the paperclip. The LED will turn solid red for 3 seconds when it is factory reset and removed from the network. Remove the batteries from the glass break sensor until you are ready to re-add it to your base station.
If you have tried all these steps and your Glass Break Sensor still does not work, we recommend reaching out to our support team for assistance.

I have not yet installed these devices but my son, a police officer, recommended them. I have other Ring devices that I am happy with. I expect they will work very well.
