Very responsive and easy to set up. Always impressed with how quickly I receive notifications on my phone from the system. Battery life of all devices is also excellent. Only downside is that one of my keypads will struggle to disarm the system on occasion. It isn't far from the base unit and I also have a range extender in the room-- just has a finicky connection every once in a while. When this happens I walk to the other keypad to disarm.

I needed to replace an ADT system because the monitoring costs were crazy. Ring at $10/mo was the best available. I have another home which has the Ring system and it works very well, especially on our iPhone and iPad. They promise more devices in the future which I could use now but hopefully they will be available soon.

I am pleased I chose this system. I love the fact of having two keypads. I can vouch that this system works. I have the professional monitoring done and love also that I can monitor from my phone. I must say that one time, I had set it to away and came in the side door. The motion sensor picked me up immediately and set off the alarm. The sirens are very loud and the monitoring company called me immediately. Had to explain what happened and they double check to make sure I did not need assistance. I was pleased that they were on top of the monitoring. My phone notifications also went off without a hitch stating there is a burglary in process and the exact door it was happening from. The reason it went off was there were no sensor on that door, so the system was not aware that it was opened but the motion sensor is in view of that door and that is why it went off. If you open the doors that have a sensor on, the system gives you time to get to the keypad to disarm or even from your phone.

Easy to install. Easy app to use for set up. I'm comfortable now knowing I have home security.

Snagged this system about 3 months now and set up was very easy and friendly. I have a small place so didn't need many additional pieces to complete. So far I have had no issues with the system. The cellular back up works and alerts me when the power went down and when restored. I would suggest to pick up some stronger two sided tape depending on the walls in your home. I use the stronger Velcro strips to hold up motion detector and contact sensor on front door for better peace of mind, the tape included is not strong enough in my opinion. The base can be set on a flat surface or hung, but I chose to lay flat and wired it to my modem. The alarm is loud enough to alert anyone in the home and can be controlled from your smart phone. Can't comment on it's wireless capability since I have it wired. It works very well with my ring doorbell and Alexa Dot. The key pad has kept it's charged since the day I installed. Customer service is excellent when and if you need advice or help setting up. Great little system for under $170

I debated on this system for a while. Do I really need it? Will I remember to use it? Is it worth the money? After having it for just under a month the answers to all are... yes! Very easy and straightforward self install and the app makes it a breeze to arm/disarm when leaving or arriving.

So I’ve owned it over a month. It is easy to set up and very easy to use the app to set the alarm or deactivate. You can customize what triggers notifications and be alerted for whatever you want. My next investment will be the cameras. For $100 a year you can get professional home monitoring and extended video storage. Best deal compared to its competitors that why I went with Ring. Also Alexa (Amazon) is partnered with them.

From set up, this system is the easiest system we’ve ever had. I love the prices of their subscription services, you really can’t beat it with any other company. Simple user interface as well as great customer service really round out the security system. I also love that you can use Alexa with this.

I love the Ring Alarm home security kit. This is Gen 1. It was very easy to install. The siren is a great feature. Good feature is the 30sec delay after the door opens - this gives me time to de-arm when I'm entering the house. It was easy to integrate with Alexa.

This is by far one of the easiest alarms I have ever installed. Everything right out of the box connected to the main control panel and set up was a breeze. If you are looking for a great working system with no wire setup required this is the way to go. From start to finish was less than an hour.

When Ring was recommended to me versus CPI when I was looking for a security system for my new business... I was very skeptical. But I must admit that this system by far surpasses there system! The price is affordable and the monthly monitoring charge is great!

Brought it home, I took a few days to install it, but could have done it in about an hour just wanted to make sure I covered the most area with each sensor. Work great, once family gets used to having an alarm I will set up remote monitoring, but phone keeps us informed on the status

We bought a new house and have not been able to move in due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We feel that our home is very secure due to the Ring Alarm Home security. We are certain that everything is safe because of the system. We signed up for monitoring which is a huge value at $100 per year. We probably save more than that on our insurance policy! Very easy. The only issue so far was that the system lost connection with our Wi-Fi. The good news is that it went on cellular back-up. We were still protected. The support team got it back online very quickly. I highly recommend Ring.

This is a great starter alarm for apartments. Was able to get everything mounted easily. Less than an hour. Issues arose while trying to get the equipment on the network. Provably user error, but it took about 2 hours. The motion sensor never paired.

Easy to set up and does everything needed. The only down fall for me is the numbers don't illuminate and it can be tricky sometimes to disarm because of it...but 9 time out of 10 I am using the app anyway so it's not a horrible thing. Overall it's great.

This is a very easy system to setup. It s Took me a little time to find all the settings needed. And I’m generally quite tech savvy. Also the exit and entry delays don’t always work which leads me to believe it’s a software issue. Still a little maturity to be out in place. What I loved is the value and ease of setup. Can’t go wrong for the price and the 10/mo for monitoring.

So thankful and happy for easy installation. Don’t pull the tabs and follow the instructions. If doesn’t set up correct on first attempt don’t go crazy and think your smarter then the smart home. Remove device start over and follow instructions. All will be fine. LOVE

This is my first security system, and for the price it is not bad. One fault is that I don't get cell service here, so unless I leave my phone on wifi all the time I will not get notifications, and if I am out and about I have to turn my data on; would not be bad except I am on a low data plan through my carrier. Ring customer service are fantastic! And paying only $10 a month is a great price.

Installed the complete ring security system after 5-burglaries and no action from the investigators. Ring caught the thieves red handed, and they haven't been back since! Thank you Ring for having such an easy to setup product that's more effective than the rest.
