It sounds like the device did not meet your expectations in regards to the volume of the siren. The Ring Alarm Pro 14-Piece Kit is an alarm system that combines reliable home security with a secure internet network. If your siren is triggered in your home or business, the Ring Alarm Pro Base Station siren will sound for 10 minutes and then turn off. The Ring Alarm Base Station has a 104 dB siren.
There are a variety of situations where a homeowner might feel the need to extend the range of the alarm signal. These include:
Living in a very large house where walls and other construction may mute the siren.
Living in a multi-story home where the sounds may not be heard in the basement or attic.
Having areas that are frequently subject to loud noises that might drown out the sound of the siren.
Having people living in the home who are hard-of-hearing who might miss an alert if the sound is too far away.

It sounds like you are experiencing an issue with the installation of the sensors from the kit. To ensure that the devices can adhere to the surface properly, we recommend wiping the area with a damp cloth prior to installing. Allow the area to dry before removing the paper from the adhesive pads on the back of the device. You can use double-sided tape, as well, to reinforce the pads if needed.
