DIY install was super easy, as is the functionality. I researched the best value security system and landed on ring, which has not disappointed. Highly recommend. I bought this for my grandmother but will be converting my own house to ring as well.

The set up is super easy once you start the process. I like the app functionality and ease of use. I will be subscribing to the Ring plus for monitoring.

The installation of the hardware is simple and the configuration of the system is easy and well explained. The security system itself works smoothly and without a single error so far. It is possible to adjust a bunch of settings to make sure it works the way you want. Even without electricity, the system is still working well. It seems totally reliable.

The hardware itself works flawlessly I was able to add over 15 sensors not sure how much I can hold bit it feels like a lot
Also the ease of using the app is very user-friendly I just wish Ring will allow you to use the SD storage for free instead of including it in the subscription
But either which will you look at it you’re gonna get the subscription

So far, so good. Easy to install, easy to operate. We have the Ring cameras too, so this just compliments it. The best feature is that you can go out the door and set it after you are in the car. And, you can cut it off before you get in the house, especially if your hands are full of groceries!

I replaced my old security with this system since I heard good reviews from my friends. I have ring protect pro plan as well. Give me plenty of options that other leading providers in security system, which is a plus. Here are the features that I think are missing or need to provided.
1. My sound on the keypad is loudest but this is still not loud during announcements when its arming, etc
2. The ring app doesn't have any security by default which I think is wrong for a security app. It has to have a pin to open or at least use faceid.
3. I was already an Eero user so having the Alarm pro come with a Eero router was a good plus initially but then I realized that just a week after Eero came in with Eero 6+. Now I will have 6 and 6+ so some features or reason why I went to 6+ is not fully achievable. Also not sure how they will stagger these releases. The ring alarm pro was attractive with also the 3GB of free back up internet.
4.Biggest problem, due to some power issues, I lost internet connectivity, great to have a back but it runs out fast. This is because by default all devices will be auto-on for backup usage. I wish there was a toggle for all on and off, then we can go and edit the ones that we need, etc
5. I went through the trouble of doing this one device at a time for 70 devices.
6. The next time when internet went down and came back up within a few mins and I have restarted the modem, etc Ring Alarm Pro doesn't automatically connect detect it and start using my ISP internet. I have waited for minutes to hours and it does not work automatically. I had to use the pin hole and restart and only then it connects.

I has an amazing way to have me feeling that my belongings that I’ve worked so hard to have and make my home so nice and safe. This extra layer of protection with professional monitoring as well extra battery with its own SIM card even when there’s no electricity. Works like a charm.

everything was easy to install.
my only complaint with the system is that the built in Eero mesh router doesn't seem to have as good a distance as the xfinity supplied router xb7 with my ring doorbell 4. both routers in the same spot and the xb7 gets rssi -48. this Eero built in router on the ring is to weak to use. it only gets rssi - 75 and in the app it says its to week a signal. i think it might be because my ring doorbell 4 has 2.4 and 5 ghz. and the Eero mesh router does not let you pick so its defaulting on 5 ghz that does not go as far as 2.4 ghz.
I have 2 ring stickup cams battery that only use 2.4 ghz so the ring router is getting a good signal on those even though there farther away then the doorbell. the doorbell is only 250 feet from the router.
If i decide to pay for the ring protect pro service i would not be able to have cellular backup on the doorbell as i have to leave that on the xb7. not really interested in paying 90 more bucks on a Eero wifi extender when the xfinity xb7 router gives a good signal to it. I'm hoping that maybe a update to the Eero router might fix this issue.
other then that i like everything else about this alarm system.
I do wish that ring would have another service plan just for the cellular backup without the professional monitoring service for people that want to self monitor it.

Very professional staff they took your time to explain everything show me the cameras make sure the cameras were posted. Make sure they were. I wanted them make sure everything was installed properly. They walk me through it. They show me everything to make sure that I felt safe and secure before they walked off very professional. Mike Pacheco was a very good worker.

This ring alarm system is great for that extra piece of mind with the ring cameras. The set up is really easy instructions are clear. The biggest pro of this system is it comes with a built in Eero so it saves you money and expands your wifi through your house.

I love my ring system. It’s easy to install, but does take time. Once installed, easy to arm and disarm. Best investment I made beside my ring cameras. Accessories are easy to add later on.

Setup was super easy, the system is very intuitive, and seamlessly integrates with any ring cameras and devices already around your house, I love that there are smoke and carbon monoxide sensors that pair with the system as well.
