I live in Colombia and I bought for my house and works excellent. I could join the protection system because is unabailable in my country but the alarm system works very good, all notification are Ok. You have to make a suscription to have a back up of your videos.

It sounds like the device did not meet your expectations in regards to the volume of the siren. The Ring Alarm Pro 8-Piece Kit is an alarm system that combines reliable home security with a secure internet network. If your siren is triggered in your home or business, the Ring Alarm Pro Base Station siren will sound for 10 minutes and then turn off. The Ring Alarm Base Station has a 104 dB siren.
There are a variety of situations where a homeowner might feel the need to extend the range of the alarm signal. These include:
Living in a very large house where walls and other construction may mute the siren.
Living in a multi-story home where the sounds may not be heard in the basement or attic.
Having areas that are frequently subject to loud noises that might drown out the sound of the siren.
Having people living in the home who are hard-of-hearing who might miss an alert if the sound is too far away.
If the volume of the Ring Alarm Pro Base Station siren is not sufficient for your environment, we recommend that you add the Ring Alarm Dome Siren to your system. The Ring Alarm Dome Siren is a secondary siren that can extend the range of your Ring Alarm to sound in areas of your home.

So far, we haven't installed it just yet, bnut my sister has the same system and with the Ring app they can control everything. Super nice to have this and not have to pay the bigger companies all that extra money for things they do not need.

It’s a slight ding when a door opens but the ring door bell can sense someone further away than what I imagined and I love that! It doesn’t just alert you once when someone is standing there but multiple times. Very impressed.

I was on a hunt for a new home security system and I’m glad I picked this one! My wifi has gone done once due to a storm and the hub automatically switched to my cellular network which is such an awesome feature !

Only issue I have is when setting the alarm you have the options of 30 second delay or 0 seconds. Having 10-15 second option would be ideal
