This extender does exactly what it’s advertised to do and makes my sensors work flawlessly. Easy to connect to my system and the process was seamless. This is a must have and makes the ring system even more impressive. I’ll never go back to a local security company ever again!

Since adding the extender, haven’t seen any poor connection status for those cameras.

We were concerned about the signal with how far the sensors are from each other and the base. We bought the Alarm Range Extender to make sure our system always works and has no issues. So far so good.

This is my second WIFI extendor from RING. I recently installed several additional RING cameras, so I needed an additionla WIFI Extendor. And of course, I have the RING Doorbell!! Thank You Ring !!

I have not seen any changes of my Ring's floodlight cam or outdoor cam plus' WiFi signal since I have activated this ALLEGED range extender. So, I believe that it is just another way for Ring company to lure customers to purchase this device for their financial gain.

It sounds like your device is not performing as you expected. The Ring Alarm Range Extender (2nd Gen) is intended to extend the signal from your Alarm Base Station to all its components, so you can make sure your entire system stays online. The Ring Alarm Range Extender (2nd Gen) is not compatible with Ring doorbells and cameras. If your Ring device is far away from your router, you can use a wifi extender like the Ring Chime Pro or a mesh router like eero to improve the wifi signal strength.
